Today is August 22nd, which means it's English Challenge Day, or ECD for short. This is a fun project started by the community of たけざわかおさん’s Voicy Premium Listeners, led by まるえりsan and other members. Earlier this month, eight of us – my parents, my brother’s family of four, my daughter, and me – enjoyed a wonderful stay at an all-inclusive hotel. My parents relaxed while the rest of us had fun in the pool. We only needed about an hour to feel refreshed, and then we treated ourselves to snacks and drinks, including cocktails, in the lounge. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel's buffet, trying all sorts of dishes and having a few drinks. The hotel was packed with guests, but we still had a comfortable stay. In the evening, we watched the Olympics in our room until late at night. As I spent time with my elderly parents, I couldn’t help but wonder how many more trips we’ll have together. My daughter will also be busy with her studies next year, so this time together felt precious, making for unforgettable summer memories.
