というわけで#ReelFriendsInTokyoです。

今回はホラー映画 #ヘルレイザー  です。

「騒ぎを起こす人」みたいな意味があるんですが、この映画においては文字通り地獄を呼び起こす者でもありますね。

何度も擦ってますが、あらすじ読んでもちんぷんかんぷんな映画ナンバーワンです。

究極の快楽を得られる謎のパズルボックスを手に入れたフランクがその箱を開けると肉体を失ってしまった。

どういうことやねん。

しかもセノバイトとかいうものすごいヴィジュアルのアイコンまで出てきていよいよ頭にクエスチョンマークが浮かぶという。

何かしらのメタファーがそこにあると考えれば解像度が増すのか？

ということで今回は作品の後ろに眠る者について何かしら得ようといろいろ話しましたが、結論が導きにくかったです。

So yeah… the new show’s officially launched, but let’s be honest: I’m still struggling to lure over listeners from the old one.

After tons of film rambles on #YomoyamakoBanashi (#Makobana), we’ve spun those convos off into their own dedicated channel:

This time, we’re diving into the horror classic #Hellraiser.
The title refers to someone who stirs up trouble — but in this film, it’s more like someone who literally raises hell.

I’ve talked about this one before, but let me say it again:
This might be the most confusing movie ever made if you just go by the plot summary.

Frank gets his hands on a mysterious puzzle box that supposedly grants ultimate pleasure. He opens it — and boom, no more physical body.
…Huh??

Then these visually insane beings called the Cenobites show up, and your brain just fills with question marks.
Maybe it all makes more sense if you treat it as some kind of metaphor?

We tried to dig into the deeper meaning behind it all — what’s sleeping behind the story — but let’s be real, this one resists easy answers.

So if you’re down for a long, wandering chat, come along for the ride.

Also… kinda feel like firing up the Shin Megami Tensei series again.
