道の駅南郷の道路挟んで反対側にちょっとした展望台みたいなのもあったりしてね。 There was a little observatory across the road from the station.
そこちょっと登ってみたりとかしたけど、そこもいろんな所にベンチがあったりとか道がついてたりして、良いお散歩スポットなんだろうなって思いました。 I climbed up there and there were benches and roads. I thought it was a good place to take a walk.

美しい海と美味しい料理

日本一のシーサイドビューって言っても過言じゃないですね。 It's not an exaggeration to say that it's the best seaside view in Japan.

皆さん通る時はね、これね、トンネルあるんですけどね、だいたい宮洞生きてるんで、宮洞行った方がいいっす。 When you pass by, there is a tunnel here, but most of the time, the old town is alive, so it's better to go to the old town.

コイガウラ展望所っていうところまで上がって、 From Koigaura Observatory,
そこから降りてくるときの右側の海がめっちゃ綺麗。 the sea on the right side is so beautiful.

ここは下から眺めてもいいし、この一番てっぺんまで行くと意外と全く見えないので、 If you go all the way to the top, you can't see it at all,
ちょっとね、下に降りたところの方が見やすいですね。 so it's easier to go down.

いや、海の色がめちゃめちゃ綺麗で。 The color of the sea is so beautiful.
しかもさ、いい波が来んのよ。 And there are good waves.

地元の小学生とか中学生とかが自転車乗って釣り座を背負ってるんだよ。 Because elementary and junior high school students ride bicycles and ride fishing rods.
みんな遊ぶって言うと釣りなんだろうね。 If you say play, it's probably fishing.
釣りしてもいいし、サーフィンやってもいいし。 You can go fishing, you can go surfing.
ダイビングスポットも近くにあったりとかしてね。 And there's a diving spot nearby.

そこから、本当であれば問い岬に行くところを。 From there, if it's true, we'll go to Toi Misaki.
私たちはお腹が空いたので、問い岬をまずスキップして、海の心っていうところに。 We were hungry, so we skipped Toi Misaki and went to the heart of the sea.

海の心っていうご飯屋さんにね、お邪魔してご飯を食べてきました。 We went to a restaurant called Heart of the Sea and ate.
ここも美味しい海鮮のお店ですね。 This is also a delicious seafood restaurant.

そうそうそう。なんかね、ちゃんとした板前の大将がね、カッポを着てね、お料理出してくれるんですけど。 The captain of the proper Itamae comes and serves the food.
おまかせ定食っていうのがね、1200円だったかな。すごいね、ボリュームなんですよ。 The set meal was 1,200 yen. It's a lot.
すごい丁寧なお刺身とネクラと、まあ、おまかせで出てきます。 It's a very delicate set meal.
美味しかったです。美味しかったですね。 It was delicious.

なんかね、お刺身はね、ゴリゴリ系の新鮮なっていうよりは、ちょっと白身とか寝かせてふわってした美味しさがあって。 The sashimi wasn't fresh, but it was a little white and fluffy.

調理がね、上手ですね。 It's good at cooking.
切りつけがね、また上手なんですわ。 It's also good at cutting.
ちょっと残念だったのが、お魚の種類がさ、わかんなかったから、隣の席の人とかはこれ何ですか?とかって聞いてたんだけど、うちらも聞けばよかったね。 I was a little disappointed because I didn't know what kind of fish it was, so I asked the person next to me what it was, but we should have asked.
5種類ぐらいお刺身が載ってたかな。 I think there were about 5 kinds of sashimi.
鰹と鈴木ぐらいしかわからなかった。 I didn't know anything but bonito and suzuki.
全部美味しかったよね、でも。そう、ふわふわ系だった。 It was all delicious. It was fluffy.

あとなんかね、おばんざいみたいな、ちょっとした小鉢みたいなのがいっぱい出てきて、あのね、タケノコがめっちゃ美味しかったね。 There were a lot of small fish like obanzai, and the bamboo shoots were really delicious.
スズケというかね、ちょっと甘酢でね、和えてあるようなタケノコ。 Yeah, it's like suzuke, but it's a little sweet.

そう、だからね、お魚だけじゃなくてね、そんなのも全部美味しかった。 Yeah, so it wasn't just fish, it was all delicious.

豊岬の三崎馬
ひさぽん
で、そっから豊岬にやっと行きまして、ようやく豊岬に到着しまして、馬と戯れてきました。 And then we finally got to Toi Misaki, and the horse and the herd came.
散々戯れましたね。 Yeah, they were all over the place.

そう、豊岬にね、馬がいっぱいいるんだよね。 Yeah, there are a lot of horses in Toi Misaki.

そうですね、三崎馬っていう国内在来種ですね、がいますね。 Yeah, there are a lot of Misaki horses.
これ、彼らはほぼ、ほぼというかもう野生でずっと暮らしている馬になります。 They are mostly wild horses.

やっぱりなんかどこの馬もそうだけどさ、在来の馬って結構小柄な感じだよね。 Yeah, it's the same for all the horses, but the original horses are quite small.

なかなかすごいロケーションのところに住んでる。 Yeah, they live in a great location.

だいたい100頭ぐらいいるらしいよ。 Yeah, there are about 100 of them.

みんなね、全然人間を物ともしなかったね。動じなかった。 They didn't treat humans like animals at all.
1mmも2mmも。むしろそこ邪魔なんで、臭くて邪魔なんで、どいてもらっていいっす。ぐらいの感じで、頭突っ込んできたりするね、股の下に。 Yeah, they didn't even care about the 1mm. They were like, it's in the way, it's in the way, can you get out of the way? And they would stick their heads in.

なのでね、動物って人間が襲ってこないって確証するとこれぐらい気にしなくなるんだなっていうね、結構ね、思いますね。 Yeah, so I realized that animals don't care as much as humans do.
いやー、かわいかった。で、あとね、なんかね、小松川丘っていうところに行ったんだけど、富岬の中にちょっと丘みたいな山がちょっとあって、 Yeah, it was cute. And I went to a place called Komatsugawaoka, and there was a hill-like mountain in the Toyo Misaki area,
日南市の観光

そこに馬がいっぱいいるよーってマップに書いてあったから、じゃあちょっと行ってみようかって思ったんだけど、ここがなんか草原のちょっと小高い丘になっていて、景色がすごい良かったね。 and it was written on the map that there were a lot of horses there, so I thought I'd give it a try, but it turned out to be a small hill in the grassland, and the scenery was really nice.

ここは良かったね。両サイド、ちょうど、富岬の出っ張りになっている部分の両サイドの海が見えて、こう首根っこがね、見えるって感じだね。富岬の稜線に立てる場所でしたね。 Yeah, it was a place where you could see the sea on both sides of the Toyo Misaki outcrop, and you could see the neck of the mountain. It was a place where you could stand on both sides of the Toyo Misaki.

トイミサキ灯台ね、むしろ最初に行きましたが、トイミサキ灯台は九州唯一の登れる灯台となっている。 I went to the Toyo Misaki lighthouse first, but it was the only lighthouse in Kyushu.
灯台自体はそんなに高くないんですけど、段階絶壁の上に建っているんで、海からの高さはかなり高いですよ、250メートルくらい。 The lighthouse itself is not that high, but it's on the top of the cliff, so the height from the sea is quite high, about 250 meters.

串とらさんね、宮崎と鹿児島にちょっとだけ店舗がね、三店舗かな、あるんでね。 There are three sushi restaurants in Miyazaki and Kagoshima.
