みなさん、こんにちは。いかがお過ごしでしょうか。この放送は、私まりぃが英語学習継続のために1日幼少1ページ音読しようと思って始めた放送です。
今は声日記のように自分の記録として、その日の思いや出来事を話していたりもしています。
今日は12月28日、木曜日。仕事納めになります。その日の朝に撮っています。
娘はもう学校も休みですし、夜更かししてまだ寝てますね。
私も昨日は夜更かしを久々にしました。0時を回ってたんじゃないかな。でも朝はしっかりちゃんと5時に起きました。
昨日は、仕事はイレギュラーなことが多くて、結構大変だったんですけど、なんとか無事に終わって、すごいやりきった感がありました。
でも、ふらっと直近、家までまっすぐ帰るんじゃなくて、ちょっと寄り道したくなって、
昨日は地元の駅から近い、食事も出来てワインも飲めるバーみたいなところに一人でふらっと寄りました。
カウンターが開いてたんで、ちょっと寄ったら、常連のお客さんと初対面だったんですけど、とってもいいご夫婦さんで楽しく会話してて、
マスターがカウンター越しでいるので、その人たちの話を通して一緒に楽しむことができました。
その後にも続いて初対面のまた違う常連さんカップルが来て、その人たちがグローバルマインド大事だみたいなことを言ってて、私も思いますと思って。
そしたら、偶然で、私は田舎の地方に住んでいるんですけど、そこで英会話ができたんですよ、日本人同士での英会話。めっちゃ便利です。
英語が出てこなかったら、すぐ日本語にも頼れますし、「え、それどういう意味?」とか、「これ何て言うんでしたっけ?」とか、
英語で言ってたら、頑張って英語でストラッグイング、苦戦して、それが何とか通じた時に喜びだったりとか、印象に残って、それは学びなんですけど、

まあ、日本人同士だったら便利ですよね。すぐそこを頼らずに、日本語でスイッチできちゃうところもあるんですけど、
でもなんか、私が自分で、ちょっと挑戦してみたいですって言って、すごくいい機会だから、とっても英語できるお二人カップルだったんで、英会話を楽しみました。
なんかそれが、結構面白いことに、自分の意見が言いやすいんですよね、英語の方が。間違ってもいいし、私はこう思ってるんですっていうのをね、やっぱりミスばっかり気にして、なかなか自己主張できなかったりとか、
周りの空気を読む、ハイコンテクスト文化だから日本は、いいところでもあるんですけど、それが逆に周りに合わせたり、空気を読みすぎて自分の主張ができないとかいうのがある。
だから私は娘の教育だったり、今の学校での教育を受けて、社会でやっていけるのかが心配だなっていう思いとか言いました。
彼もとても共感してくれて、初対面に会った人も、なんかローコンテクスト、ハイコンテクストっていうのを、I've never talked about it between Japaneseとか言って、そういった話を日本人同士で話したことがないとかいう感じでおっしゃってました。
彼ね、多分私よりだいぶ年的には若いかもしれないんですけど、若いですね。年齢は聞いていないですが、本当に新鮮でした。
そんな感じでね、英語とか日本語で混じって喋っているとですね、一人で飲みに来られていた、ちょっとだけ年配の男性が来て、とってもおしゃれなんですよね。
最近、世田谷区から引っ越してきたそうで、なんかそれもすごいなと思ったんですけど、ここの住民、ここの町の住民ですか、みたいな感じで。
なんかね、全員ご馳走してくれたんですよ、最後。その方は最近英語を学び出しましたって言って、英語でね、会話してきたから、私も会話したら、まだそこまでは分からないとか言って、めっちゃかわいい方だったんですが。
自己紹介もしてくださって、素敵なカラーの2種類の仕事をしていて、ファッション関係と、あと不動産でしたかね、名刺もおしゃれで、服装もおしゃれで、見たことないようなファッションでしたね。

とてもユニークで、魅力的、アトラクティブでしたね。そんな言葉を話してたような気がします。
だから私、昨日久々に赤ワイングラスを4杯?5杯?ボトル開けたんじゃないかなと思いました。
でもね、その4杯は全部ご馳走してくださって、隣のカップル、初対面のカップルなんて、食事までしてたので、1万ぐらい超えてたのに、そういうの気にされず、全部ご馳走して。
マスターの分のお酒とかも、出会いが嬉しかったようで、私も同じく嬉しかったんですけど、そうやって勢いでご馳走する行動に、そういった使い方っていいなと思いました。
次は私も嬉しかったら、この時間に共有できたから、わーい!みたいな感じでお金を使えるっていいなって思います。
かつて、結構、同僚とか若い子と一緒に飲みに行くときは、私もほとんど払う立場だった。払いたいと思ってたので。
分かるんですけど、金額が違うので、初対面ではどれぐらい使ってるか分からないし、途中から来て、すごいなーって、金額じゃないんだろうなーって思いました。
ちょっと長くなりましたが、昨日出会った初対面の、愉快な、ユニークな、魅力的な人たちとの出会いの話でした。
