映画談義ポッドキャストパーソナリティまこです。

今回は週末世界、タイムパラドックス、アクションにドラマ、色々詰め込んだ一大SF作品　#ターミネーター です。ちなみに語ったのは１と２。

知らぬ人はいないと言っていいんじゃないかという名作。数年ぶりに見返しましたが、これやっぱすごいな。

プロットが本当に優秀。

１と２で７年の期間が空いていますが、ある種たった7年でここまで変わるのかと。

背景にあるのはコンピューター関連の技術の進歩が爆発的に進んでいたこと。

そして映像技術がCGによって華開いたこと。この辺りが大きく影響していると思いますが、見事にストーリーラインを崩壊させることなく、時代の変化を作品に落とし込んでいます。

だからこそ１を超える唯一の傑作として２が受け入れられたのかと。

２の方が面白い作品なんて他にないもんね。

そんでもって１があり得ないくらい面白いってんだからレベルが違う。

大迫力のアクション、そしてバチバチにハマったキャスティング。

どちらも作品を語る上では外せない要素なんだけれども、その上で脚本が提示してくる社会への問いかけがとにかく深い。

ただのアクションSFとしてはここまで長々と語られる作品にはならなかったんじゃないかな？

シュワルツェネッガーと育った幼少期。

並々ならぬ思い入れで語らせていただきました。

名作だからこそ破綻せぬよう語ったつもりですが、ファンの皆さん、いかがですか？

変わりゆく世界。

知性を誰しもが手軽にポケットに詰め込む時代。

あなたはどれだけの判断を自ら行なっているでしょうか。

Linda Hamilton? Absolutely badass.
The casting? Chef’s kiss.
But underneath all that metal and mayhem is a core of serious questions: Who’s in control? What does it mean to have choice? Are we handing over too much to the machines?

I grew up watching these with my jaw on the floor and a toy shotgun in hand. So yeah—I got feels. And in this episode, I unpack it all.
