Hi, I'm Koba, Yasu. This is Carpe Diem Seize the day. I'll be mumbling my thoughts in daily life.
This is the first episode of this podcast, so I would like to introduce myself and I also like to
talk about why I start this podcast. The first, the introducing myself. I'm Koba or
some people I say Yasu. I live in Japan and work in IT company as a PMO,
Project Management Office for System Development. I did some programming and also did some
application engineering. I also had the joined the project in Japan, Vietnam and Myanmar.
A couple of places. What I like? I like running, done a couple of marathons. I also like reading
books, listening to music, any kind of music I like, and traveling around the world and also
traveling in Japan in many places. Interest? I have interest in the minimalism or the minimalist
way of thinking and the history as well. I like a saying that history repeats itself. If I see
what's happening around the world in these days,
these things remind me of this saying, history repeats itself. Okay, why I start this project,
podcast? Well, I wanted to do it, but behind it I have a positive feeling about what I read
in about a year ago and I would like to want it to carry out itself. I read the book
called Die With Zero by Bill Perkins and in that book he pointed out,
03:02
quote, start investing in experiences early, unquote. And I interpreted this as that the
the earlier you start, the more you have in experience and memories
and earn from this experience will grow and compound. In this podcast, I'd like to share
my thoughts and how I felt through my experiences. Having talked about this podcast is
one of the experiences to me. Traveling is also an experience. Meeting with people,
having dinner with someone else, someone, is also a good experience to me. And through the experience,
I have many thoughts or what I felt. I'd like to share those, my thoughts through my experiences.
In this first episode, I shared who I am and why I started podcast. As I said,
I see values in having experiences and learn from it. And I'd like to share my thoughts in the
and make my experience in this podcast. Thanks for listening. We'll see you next time.
