最近の野球界の動向
Hi, I'm Koba Yasu. This is Carpe Diem Seize the day. I'll be mumbling my thoughts on daily life.
Yesterday was 22nd commemoration day of 9-11. I like pray for victims of 9-11.
And the things that I can do is not forgetting about what happened. I'm hoping that
history repeats itself would not happen again. Today's theme is the looking back my August.
This is my updates in a way. There are five topics. One, I met one of my best friends in
my family for the first time in four years. Second, achieved goal on business and private.
Three, started this podcast. Four, went to a trial lesson of a contract coach.
Five, decline of physical strength. The first topic, I met one of my best friends in family
for the first time in four years. My friend and family came to Japan for the first time in four
years in Tokyo. We had the lunch dinners and enjoying the talking about what we saw, what we
ate together in the past troubles. At the beginning of this year, as a New Year's reservation, I wrote
I am, I will be fulfilled mentally by having felt the connection of friendship
despite its physical distance. Well, I always felt that the connection with them,
but having met in real or face-to-face is really a big thing. Physical distance
doesn't matter. That's what I felt. I felt more fulfilled by seeing with face-to-face.
仕事とプライベートにおける達成
I really had a good time. Second topic, achieved goal on business and private.
I reached an agreement with my client on document control procedures,
which has been in discussion for months, and I was glad that I made an agreement with them.
In private, I passed the test on my business field, which is the software quality.
I studied about a month or two, and they took an exam on this June,
and I received the message that I passed. I'm very happy with it.
Three, I started this podcast. I started my other podcast in Japanese, speaking Japanese in March,
but starting the podcast in English has been in my mind since then.
That is to share my thoughts or to share my updates with my family overseas, and
I really started this, and I'm very happy with it too.
Four, I went to try a lesson of contract bridge. Looking back myself, my whole hobby
is basically doing by myself. I run, I read, I listen to music, but it's all
done by myself, and I have a little essence of socializing, and I thought, what is good for me
as becoming in 50s and ever after? What is good for me? Margin, darts, poker, and
I picked the contract bridge, and I went to try a lesson in August. It seems good.
It seems that it will fit to my style, and I will take some lessons from this coming October.
体力の衰え
Five, decline of physical strength. I like running, and I run a couple of marathons,
but after recovering from COVID in June, my monthly running distance is not as long as it
used to. I used to run about 25 miles per month, but now it's only about 15 miles in these days.
It may be due to the hot and humid weather, but I like to bring back to myself to about 25 miles
per month this coming fall and winter. Today's podcast, I shared about my monthly updates.
One, I shared the five things. One is that I met with one of my best friends in my family
for the first time in four years. Two, I achieved some goals in business in private field.
Three, I started this podcast. Four, I went to try a lesson of contract bridge.
Five, I felt decline of physical strength, but I will keep moving forward.
