Hi, I'm Koba, Yasu. This is Carpe Diem Seize the day. I'll be reminding my thoughts in daily life.
It's been almost a year since my last podcast. How I'm doing? Well, that's my today's episode.
Many things happen, but I'd like to summarize in six topics.
1. It's about my family issue. 2. About my physical issue.
3. Started to learn coaching. 4. Started journaling.
5. Continues to learn the contract bridge. 6. I made new friends throughout these activities.
I'd like to talk in each topics. 1. About my family issue.
Last Nov, I faced a new family issue. My father is hospitalized twice in Nov alone.
Fortunately, he is recovered and had no critical issue after effects.
Now, he is able to walk and goes to a daily health care center three times a week, which I relieved very much.
2. Last Dec, I made a crack on my toe and it took me four months to fully recover.
During these periods, I was not able to run at all. So, I started doing some muscle training.
It remains, I mean, the muscle training remains as my daily routine, which I appreciate even after I resumed morning run.

3. I started learning so-called coaching.
Coaching is, quote, partnering with clients in the throughout provoking and creative process
that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, unquote.
Well, my understanding for coaching is the series of dialogues between coach and client
to organize client's thoughts as well as seeking and maximizing client's ability to achieve his or her goal.
It is somewhat part of a communication skill.
At first, it was very hard for me to wait client's response with all signs after I made the question to them.
But I think I'm getting used to it.
4. In August, I started writing down my thoughts.
It is called adrenaline. It calms my feeling, especially bad things happen.
5. Throughout these 11 months, I still continue the card game called the contract bridge.
There are many rules to learn, and actually it's not fun at this moment to me.
But I think it will be a new community in the future after retirement. That's why I'm continuing.

6. I'm making new good friends throughout these activities.
I already had good lifelong friends before those activities throughout the world.
But I like to deepen and expanding friendship for fulfilling life.
Today, I talked about what I was doing in last 11 months.
As I said, I had 6 major topics.
1. About my family issue, my father issue.
2. About my physical issue.
3. I started to learn coaching.
4. I started journaling.
5. I continue learning contract bridge.
6. I made new friends throughout these activities.
I think these 6 activities will deepen and expanding friendship for fulfilling life.
