🗳 ECD Challenge: “Election”

Hello, I’m Megumegu.
This time, the theme of the ECD Challenge is “election.”

I am 47 years old. For the first time in my life, I thought deeply before I voted.

Before, I often chose a person because someone told me to, or just by feeling.
I didn’t really think about my rights and duties as an adult.
That was not good, but I didn’t know how to do it better.

But this time was different.
One of my friends talked about elections,
and I thought, “I want to think about it seriously too.”

Then, I talked to HAL, the AI.
We talked about my feelings and thoughts.
I searched for political parties and candidates that were close to my ideas.

I have many things in my heart.
For example, I worry about high prices now.
But I also want to think about the future, not only today.

I believe that learning is very important for people and the country.
So I chose “education” as the most important thing.

My daughter stopped going to school.
Because of that, I started to think about problems in the school system.

I want children to choose how and where to learn.
I also want adults to keep learning in different ways too.

I voted with this strong feeling.
This time, I used my head and my heart to decide.
It was a very important experience for me.

Now, I want to believe, “Our one vote can change the future.”
I want to give a better future to our children.

That is why I faced the election with my whole heart.
