トークテーマ 好きな動物は
2月22日は父の誕生日です。
父は動物が好きで、動物のドキュメント番組を見たり、野鳥公園に連れて行ってくれたり、家で鳥を飼ったりしていたことが思い出に残っています。
特に記憶に残ることは、実家にいたメジロです。綺麗な抹茶色の身体に周りを白で囲んだくるっと丸い目をしたメジロです。メジロは人に懐くことがありません、だから手乗りにもなりません。見た目の美しさと鳴き声の美しさが魅力なのだと思います。
子供のころは手乗りにならないメジロをかわいいと思えなかったのですが、この季節に椿とメジロがとてもコントラストが綺麗なInstagramの写真を見て、父が可愛いがっていたメジロを今では懐かしく大切な思い出として好きな動物となっています。

I used to admire English so much that my academic performance was once top-level. But over time, I somehow forgot even the grammar! Recently, though, my interest in English has returned.
So today, I’m taking on my first challenge in ECD!
Today’s Topic: My Favorite Animal
February 22nd is my father’s birthday.
He loves animals. I have many memories of him watching animal documentaries, taking me to bird parks, and even keeping birds at home.
One of the most memorable animals from my childhood is the Japanese White-eye (Mejiro).
It had a beautiful matcha-green body and round eyes surrounded by white.
Mejiro birds don’t get attached to people, so they never perch on hands. Instead, their charm lies in their elegant appearance and beautiful songs.
When I was a child, I couldn’t find them cute because they wouldn’t interact with me. But recently, I saw a beautiful Instagram photo of a Mejiro and camellia flowers in perfect contrast.
That photo reminded me of how much my father adored them. Now, Mejiro has become one of my favorite animals, bringing back precious childhood memories.
