Hello, welcome to Letters Lane. I'm Sophia.Tonight, from this little room, I'd like to
share a letter with you. This is a small letterradio program where stories, memories, and
unspoken feelings find their way into words.Tonight, another letter has arrived. So wherever
you are, take a moment to settle in and join mefor the journey.
Tonight's letter is called, To the One I LeftBehind at the Harbor. It's a letter written from
far beyond the shoreline. A quiet message filledwith gratitude, distance, and the simple hope
that someone dear is doing well. Let's begin. Tothe One I Left Behind at the Harbor.
My dear, the sea has been calm these past fewdays. This morning, I stood on deck before sunrise
and watched the horizon slowly fill with light.Moments like that always seem to make me think
of home and somehow of you. I hope you're doingwell. I hope you've been finding time to enjoy
the little things. A warm cup of coffee, a walk ona quiet afternoon, a good laugh with friends.
Those simple moments matter more than we sometimesrealize. Life aboard a ship has a way
of making a person appreciate things that oncefelt ordinary. A familiar voice, a favoritestreet,
a face you've seen a thousand times. The fartheraway I travel, the more grateful I become for
the people who make a place feel like home. Youmay never know how often you've done that for me,
not through grand gestures or dramatic moments, but through the quiet way you've always been
yourself. Just knowing you were there has carriedme through more days than I can count,
and for that, thank you. Out here, the nights arefilled with stars. Sometimes I look up and wonder
if you're seeing the same sky from where you are. It's a comforting thought. The world feels alittle
smaller when I imagine that. Please take good careof yourself. Get plenty of rest when you can.
Enjoy the days as they come, and don't worry toomuch about me. The sea keeps me busy and the
thought of home keeps me steady. By the time Ireturn, the season may have changed. The trees

may look different. The air may feel different. But I hope one thing stays the same. I hope you're
smiling. Until we meet again, with all mygratitude, yours always. From this letter
came tonight's song. A song about carryingsomeone's light with you, no matter how far
the road may lead. About finding comfort inmemories, and gratitude in the people who
make a place feel like home. Here is The Light ILeave On. Please enjoy.
Thank you for spending this time with me here onLettuce Lane. Perhaps tonight's letter reminded

you of someone. Perhaps it brought back a memoryyou hadn't visited in a while.
Whatever it may be, I hope it stayed with you fora little while.
Until next time. The next letter arrived thatnight. This is Sophia from Lettuce Lane. Goodnight.
