英語スピーチ

I’m a 40-year-old working mother living in Osaka City. After dedicating 17 years to the two companies, I made the decision to leave my job this year and enter the world of supporting working women as an independent professional.
Yeah, I guess you could say I’m having a mid-life career crisis, but instead of buying a sports car, I’m diving into a new challenge!★1
To be honest, I’m just an ordinary working mom, the kind you might find anywhere. But if you look closely, you’ll see there’s something a bit unconventional about me.
I’m really into observing people and exploring criminal psychology through books and movies. Think of me as a detective without the badge—or the paycheck! ★2
I also love sharing my thoughts through live sessions on this stand.fm platform and writing a blog.My journey with English began in elementary school when I started attending an English conversation school run by a foreign couple from my neighborhood.
It wasn’t until my second year of junior high that I really got into English. What sparked my interest? Bruce Willis in "Armageddon"—who wouldn’t want to chat with the guy who saved the world with a drill and some duct tape?★3
I dreamed of having a conversation with him, and that dream fueled my passion for learning English.
Later on, I majored in English literature and linguistics in college, where I delved into the origins of the English language and the processes involved in second language acquisition.
I studied abroad in the United States and worked for two global companies, which has brought me to where I am today.
During my time as a corporate employee, I was constantly immersed in English through international business trips and
global conferences.
However, now that those opportunities have disappeared, I strive to maintain my English skills by studying with the materials of Satoshi Sugita, who was a respected instructor for NHK’s radio English and watching foreign media and news without subtitles.
I believe that speaking is the best way to maintain English proficiency, so I am committed to taking on this challenge
monthly and giving it my all!
To conclude, I want to share with you my favorite saying "Practice makes perfect"
