Mizuki speaks in a more casual manner which would not be appropriate for talking to everyone. Please be careful if emulating his style of speech as it is both casual and very masculine; women would sound strange speaking like this. Phrases ending in っす or abbreviating ありがとうございます to あざーす are more typical (but not exclusive to) college-age Japanese men.
