Yes, please. All right. Thank you. Okay. All right. All right. And one request from me. Okay.
Please do not send the same questions many times. Oh, is someone doing that? Yeah.
Ooh. I'm not. You're not going to say who it is, but. Yeah, I don't. It makes the list very,
you know, difficult to read. So please just send once. And I'm sorry for keep you waiting,
but I'm going to read your message someday. So please be, I'm sorry, but please be patient.
Okay. All right. If this becomes a problem, we're going to have to do something else, right?
Something like one message per email. That's one of the features on Google Formats.
It's kind of sad, right? So let's not mess up the manners here.
Mostly all right. Sometimes. Sometimes. Okay. All right. So this one. Okay.
Okay.
This is from Makio-san. Okay. Makio-san. Hi, Yama-chan and Kevin-san. How's it going?
Hello.
Am I that cold-hearted on YouTube? Really? I don't think so. I don't think so.
03:05
I'm currently interested in Australia because you went there and you said it was good.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yes.
That's the only reason, but I do. My next overseas vacation bucket list would be Australia.
I highly recommend that. And especially that East Upper Side.
Yeah. What was the name of the city?
Cairns.
Cairns. Yeah.
But after that, some people send me some messages or like comments.
Okay.
I read those things and it might be depending on the season.
Oh, so you're talking about the weather, if it feels good or not?
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Okay.
The timing that I went to Cairns was like, yes, very good timing.
I see.
If you go like very hot season, then it might be very hot and humid.
Oh, I see. So it might not be as desirable.
I didn't experience, you know, whole year. I was there for like one week or so.
I see. I see.
Yeah.
I see.
So that applies to Melbourne or other central city part of Australia as well, right?
I think so.
So maybe you have to like check the weather and see if it's good for visiting now or not.
I see.
Maybe. I'm not sure about that, if it's like wholly a stable thing or not.
How about Singapore?
Singapore?
Yeah.
I've never been there before.
My friend recommended me Singapore.
Singapore.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Why?
Because it's, the weather's better.
Okay.
The weather's better. It's more international.
Yeah.
So you get to use English more.
True.
So let's say you have a kid, right?
And you want him to be more like international.
Singapore is a great option.
It's just as clean and convenient as Japan, is what they said.
Yeah. That was the reason.
Yeah.
Yeah. True.
They say it's very international.
Many, it's like completely controlled country.
It's clean.
It's controlled.
Yeah. Right.
So that's my image.
So never been to Singapore.
Yeah.
So for me, Singapore and Australia right now, for me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Sounds both great.
Yeah. Right.
So in these countries, then you would choose Australia.
06:01
Yeah. Out of that. Yeah.
Any country you're looking to go right now?
Right now?
Yeah.
Not in these.
Yeah. Sure.
Yeah. Any country.
Hmm. So one, UK.
Okay.
That's been a very long time,
but I just want to be there to see football matches.
But you've been to UK before, right?
Once. Yes.
Okay. Yeah.
But yeah, it was just for one game, one big, big game.
Oh, so it wasn't like touring and something like that.
Just see the game and go home?
Yeah.
Oh, I see.
So I just want to like stay there and live like locals.
Okay.
Then just go to a local studio and enjoy that country itself.
I see. Yeah.
So that's what I want to do.
Besides that, I want to somewhere like island.
Island?
Yeah. Like in Pacific Ocean, like Hawaii.
Yes.
Okay.
You know, island.
Island. Because you just want to go to the island.
Yeah. Like South, like, you know, warm, hot.
Great nature.
Yes. Relaxing.
Beautiful ocean.
Yeah. Like, yeah.
What do you want to do there if you get to the island?
Nothing.
Just doing nothing is what you want to do, right?
Yeah. Just stay there.
Sit, chill.
Yes.
And just enjoy the nature.
Yeah. See the ocean, see the forest and have great food.
Just that's it.
Like a beach resort.
Okay. Okay.
Yeah.
How about Hawaii? Have you been to Hawaii before?
Never been to Hawaii. Have you?
I've actually never been to Hawaii.
Oh, that's surprising.
Yeah. I've never been to Hawaii actually.
I've wanted to visit there.
Japanese go to Hawaii all the time.
Yeah.
Right?
Nenmatsu Denshi.
You have all these Genojin going to Hawaii.
You have all these Japanese just, you know, on vacation season going to Hawaii.
It's like the first choice.
It is the first choice.
Like first foreign country that you visit in your life.
You're right. Hawaii. That's true.
True. I was surprised that you've never been to Hawaii.
And if I say like, I've never been to Hawaii to my friends and they would surprise like,
Out of all the countries you've been to.
Yeah. Like Kenya.
Never been to Hawaii?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah.
Yeah. I've never been there.
Yeah. Hawaii is great.
Your dad?
My dad loves Hawaii. My dad goes to Hawaii.
You're not living in Hawaii by any chance?
Not living. He said he was planning to.
He was just looking to, you know, just search.
09:00
Just to be like, sort of like look around and see if it's actually good or not.
Yeah.
He's doing this investigation period.
He's on an investigation period where if Hawaii is actually good or not.
So he's going to Hawaii frequently, I guess.
But so far I've gotten reports saying that it wasn't, the Bukka was too high.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah. It's like a tourist place.
Yeah.
It's higher than the mainland.
Yeah.
You mean, what that means.
Yeah. That's right. That's right.
That's difficult for like a currency exchanges, right?
Yeah. Yeah.
It can be very high for us, right?
For us, right?
Yeah.
Right. That's true. That's true.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I want to go there.
Is this still, is this still popular?
Hawaii.
Among Japanese?
Among the Japanese. Yeah.
So popular, right?
Yeah.
But not as popular?
I mean, I think because of all those currency things.
Like overseas in general.
Yeah.
Okay. That's true.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But still, like if you compare to other countries, then Hawaii is like a,
Hawaii, of course, the choice.
Right. Right. Right. Right.
Yeah.
But I think true, like few, like 10, 12, 20 years ago, like Hawaii,
like everybody goes to Hawaii.
Yeah.
With like company vacation, Hawaii, you know.
But I don't think now we don't do like that anymore.
Yeah.
People tend to go like maybe New York, Europe,
like African countries more maybe.
I hear you can use Japanese in Hawaii.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's convenient.
Yeah. You don't have to speak English in Hawaii.
Yeah.
I once, few, I think a few years ago, I don't know why, but I was watching,
um, I'm not sure that which one was that, but like a, you know, Hasegawa Jun-san.
Yes.
The model, right?
Yeah.
Yes.
Actress model.
Yeah.
Was that like her YouTube channel or another Sky kind of thing?
Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Or whatever, I forget.
But anyways, I was watching her content.
Okay. You were watching her content. Yeah.
As usual.
As usual.
Because you admire her, right?
Yes.
Admire her.
Yeah.
Yeah. I watched Hasegawa Jun-san's content, Miranda Kerr content.
Ah, you admire all of them, right?
As you want to be them, right?
Yes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then, um...
Role model.
Yeah. And, um, I think she was born in Hawaii, raised in Hawaii or something.
Okay.
She has a house.
Oh, in Hawaii.
Yeah. Her mother was living in Hawaii or something like that.
I see.
Yeah.
Okay.
My memory brought blurred.
Yeah. Blurred, yeah.
Yeah. And, um, in that content, in the video,
12:02
she woke up like four or five in the morning.
Oh, sure.
With her mom.
That's early. Okay.
And yeah, and wake up early and go outside like a terrace, like a veranda with her mom.
Okay.
And prepare like hot water and hot tea or coffee or whatever.
And you can see the ocean in front of you, your house.
Wow.
And the sun is rising and you're sipping a hot drink.
Oh, wow.
And having a good time in the early morning.
Okay.
I want to do that.
That was so beautiful.
Oh, okay.
Big ocean.
Sun rising.
Okay.
Nature around you and with your family.
Yeah. That seems like you'd find a lot of happiness in that.
I love that waking up early and just talk some, you know, life things.
Yeah.
That seems like a you thing.
Beautiful life.
You would love that.
Yeah.
You would love that.
That's something like I want to do ultimately.
You want to be Hasegawa Jun?
Yes. Yes, I do.
Or her mom.
Or the mother.
Either one's okay with you.
Because I want to do that.
Yeah. Well, that's the reason why I want to go to Hawaii and just stay.
I see.
I see.
Beachside and.
I see.
Yeah.
That seems nice.
Yeah.
And go to some local, like a cake, like a cookie store.
Cookie store?
There's a lot, I'm sure.
Yeah.
Like local, four stores.
Grocery store.
Buy yourself a good breakfast.
Seems nice.
Yeah.
I've never been to Hawaii, but.
Yeah.
It is expensive though, right?
Yeah, I think so.
I think so.
Right?
The flight, hotel.
Well, isn't it like, yeah, I'm sure it's expensive, but compared to like flight to New York, flight
to LA.
Not as damaging?
Yeah, I'm not sure.
I'm sure flight to New York is higher, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
But I'm sure hotels would be very expensive.
Very expensive, right?
I'm sure.
Yeah.
I remember once, I got a mail saying that.
Like a physical mail?
Physical mail.
Okay.
That's saying, if you attend to this Setsumeikai, that was a Hilton vacation something.
It's like you owning share that you got on one of those.
I've never received it, but I think I know the scheme of that business.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
And then that business, you have like, you're like sharing the one cottage and then.
Yeah.
It's like vacation.
You mean time sharing?
Kind of.
Kind of like that.
Okay.
Yeah.
And I got a receipt for the invitation for that.
15:00
And then it says, if you come to this Setsumeikai, then I will give you, give me,
they will give me the free stays in Hawaii for two nights or whatever.
I forget then how many, but three nights or whatever for free.
Okay.
And I was like, really?
So Ayashi.
Okay.
Yeah.
And I went there.
I attended to the Setsumeikai.
Oh, shit.
Okay.
What happened?
And then start, you know, explaining things and I was like, oh, yeah, yeah.
Interesting.
But I said, no, ultimately.
Okay.
I don't, I'm not, I'm not doing it for now, but they gave me like free tickets for staying.
Really?
Yeah.
They actually did?
Yeah.
Oh, shit.
Yes.
Oh, shit.
Yeah.
And I was planning to go to Hawaii using that.
I guess like staying like three, I forget then how many nights, but flights you have to book.
Okay.
Beside the hotels, accommodations, you have to pay everything.
And I was thinking, yeah, maybe this summer, but maybe next fall and planning like that.
And one day I decided to go and see the tickets.
Yeah.
And carefully.
Yeah.
And it says it has an expired date.
Okay.
And it's gone.
You missed it.
Yeah.
I just missed it.
Missed it.
Yeah.
Wait, well, what's the catch of that offer?
There has to be some sort of a catch.
What is catch?
Like, what are they earning?
What are they gaining from you?
They don't just give out free hotels, right?
Yeah.
They just have Setsumekai.
But that's way too much.
They're gaining way too little.
Yeah.
But Setsumekai itself is the professional, you know?
They try to sell you hard.
Yes.
I think I understand people would-
Be intimidated.
Yes.
And made a contract on that spot easily by those professional sales people.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
So.
Okay.
I think that's that.
And also, even if using that tickets and going to Hawaii and stay three nights or four nights,
in that accommodation-
You're going to get a lot of sales too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So.
It's a recent problem that America sort of had left.
Time-sharing is like a-
So when you-
So they give you all these offers, right?
Upfront offers.
And then you go to that place.
And they have such a hardcore sales.
They get you hard.
Like, they're not going to let you go until you actually sign it.
And it gets-
It got so extreme.
Like, they physically won't let you go.
And then they ultimately, like, I don't know, like 12 hours of like sitting on desk,
just convincing that you won't do it.
But ultimately, you gave up.
You had to sign for-
18:00
Wow.
And then they let you go.
And you can do nothing.
Yeah.
You can't do nothing to undo it, undo the contract.
And that was like a problem.
Like, yeah.
Then that might be happening.
Kind of a similar vibe.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Glad you didn't damage, get any damage from it.
Yeah.
I missed the tickets.
How fast was the expiration date?
A year.
Also, not bad.
They're kind of fair on that.
Yeah.
I mean, they're fair.
It was you.
Yes.
It was me.
I was just lost my privilege.
I just lost it.
Oh, okay.
That sucks.
Yeah.
That was me.
That sucks.
I just, oh, one day I remembered, oh, I got a ticket.
And should I, I should use that and find a, you know, paper thing.
And it's just, oh, oh, it's expired.
Oh, sad.
That's so quick.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
Was it a good hotel?
Yeah.
Looks good.
Like a good, decent hotel?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
It wasn't hotel, hotel, actually.
It's like a villa.
You gotta.
Oh, I see.
Yeah.
Okay.
I see.
It wasn't like Hilton's or like Four Seasons or something like that.
Kind of.
Kind of?
Kind of those, yes.
Like a resort hotel-ish.
Yeah.
Resort villa.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
Wow.
So sad.
You missed up on the chance there.
You survived through the sales.
Yeah.
And you just let it go.
Yeah.
But luckily I enjoyed the conversation with that sales lady.
So.
Wow.
I was.
You're a very optimistic guy.
Yeah.
Very optimistic.
True.
Yeah.
But I just lost.
You just lost.
Lost it.
Lost a chance to.
So sad.
Yeah.
You can go again, right?
You can go again.
Impossible, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
True.
Right.
But I need an invitation.
Oh, you need an invitation first?
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
I just have to wait.
You just have to wait for the invitation.
And I'm sure they will never send me.
Yeah.
Because you already rejected them once, right?
Yeah.
All right.
All right.
Yep.
But for those that may go, they have to be careful because they'll give you like a hard
sales pitch, right?
Yeah.
I mean, even though they will like try hard.
They don't do something illegal.
They're fair.
Very fair.
They just went for the ask.
Yes.
And they would accept the rejection.
Yes.
And Hotel Vila itself looks very, very attractive.
Okay.
So.
Yeah.
All right.
I mean, I think if you made up your mind, then that would be not bad as a choice.
Okay.
So.
But.
But y'all do your own research.
Yes, of course.
All right.
Thanks for listening, guys.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
