Okay.
Meg-san.
Alright.
Yama-san, Kevin-san, こんにちは。
こんにちは。
主に海外旅行で英語を話したくて英語に慣れるためまだわからないところもありますがいつも楽しく聞いています。
お二人のおかげで以前よりはリスニングには自信が持てました。
本当にありがとうございます。
Thank you.
It's not that weird but yeah I guess you saying yeah that's casual very casual so depending on the way you say it there might have been a little bit of a gap maybe.
But you know it's okay though like you know you're on your way the fact that you said it naturally that's such a big step right now right to be able to say yeah naturally without thinking and that's a huge step.
And I don't know if you should sort of like you know sort of manipulate that feeling to not say that like I feel like you should embrace that you know feeling rather than just caring about if it sounds great or not.
But yeah like if you were to really take care of it yeah maybe something go for something like uh-huh you can say that politely okay like if you say it in a high tone uh-huh.
Or like yes yeah yes say that and that's that's very polite yeah but you know yeah it's not that bad so I say yeah go for it though yeah yeah rather speak English than caring about that you know.
That was true.
And I understand it's heavily affected for example like when you listen to which conversations yeah for learning English and if you listening to this conversation because we're both like boys yeah and just friends just really frank and casual.
英語とカジュアルな会話
Yes.
And if you learn everything from this podcast I guess I mean I'm sure your English won't be suitable for I don't know.
Business conversation right?
Yeah.
Yeah conference sure.
Yeah or if you really heavily listening to like I don't know congress conversation whole time and you get English and you will be really for casual conversation so that you have to like know if you know that it will be you don't have to manipulate that but it's easier for you for the next step.
Yeah right.
Because I know a foreign guy in Japan who come to Osaka without knowing nothing and believes that Osaka-ben is the Japanese.
I see.
He doesn't even know that.
He just starts speaking Kansai-ben?
Yeah yeah yeah.
Oh okay.
It was funny from outside but you know.
Right he wasn't trying to be funny.
Yeah yeah yeah so and it's okay if he speaks continues speaks in Osaka-ben it's really okay.
But if he knows it or not it's like be different for the next step.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What how is he doing is he is he has he can he talk in like the Tokyo-ben or something now or can he is he still fixated on that Kansai-ben?
I'm not sure.
But I think he's still in Kansai-ben.
Okay.
Katakoto.
Okay.
Japanese yeah.
And he was he was not nothing like aggressive or things like that so it's okay for everybody but.
Yeah.
But you know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
フランスでの言語体験
For example when I went to France I was with football boys who are a little not really really polite.
And my French is from them.
So until the moment I realized that I was really speaking in in their way.
Which is kind of dirty kind of not polite.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
So it's a little you know.
Looking back at it.
Yeah.
It was a little bit cringy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He was yeah.
You know.
Right.
Because you're in that community you naturally catch that.
Yeah.
And you believe that's Japanese or that's you know.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
I think for our conversation it's not that that bad.
No I don't think so.
Yeah.
Like when we we do I do curse a lot.
You don't you hardly ever cuss.
But I do cuss from time to time.
Yeah.
But still.
Still.
Yeah.
Including that right.
Although the way I talk it's not like.
Yeah.
It's not too slangy.
It's not too formal.
Yeah.
I feel like I'm kind of in the middle.
You're clean.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well thank you.
Yeah.
I think so.
I really think so.
Thank you.
Right.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Without those slang words.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right so.
Thanks for listening guys.
Thank you.
Bye.
