Why the hell would that happen?
I don't know.
I started my podcast.
I started this episode with a goal of like, "Okay, I'm going to read my ad in a very like
ad-ish style."
Yeah, like the voice and styles.
But I forgot to think about...
I forgot about the last part.
I forgot about the last section.
That my last section doesn't suit the style that I'm about to do.
So that's what happened.
Ended with a crash.
Okay.
Yeah.
But you know, the sound itself was cool.
Thank you.
Yeah.
I tried my best.
You're a real professional.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Okay.
So today...
So it's again from Serena-san.
Serena-san?
Okay.
What?
Serena-san?
Right?
Yeah, it's Serena-san.
Probably with an R, right?
Serena.
Yeah.
Sounds like Serena.
Oh, that's true.
So the second question is...
What is the movie you want to watch in winter?
I think we talked about movies before.
If you have any recommendations for a winter movie, please let us know.
I want to watch a movie called "Green Book" in winter.
I think it's because the snow scenes and the last Christmas party scenes were impressive.
This movie is a movie that takes black discrimination from a different angle.
It's a story about a black pianist and a white bodyguard in the 1960s.
When I went on a trip to the south of America as a pianist, I saw a picture of Georgia, where Kevin was from, and it came out.
It's a movie that makes me think about black discrimination, and it's one of my favorite movies.
Okay.
If you have any movies you want to watch in winter, please let us know.
It's getting cold, so please take care of yourself.
We're still rooting for you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Polar Express would be my favorite.
It's more like a Christmas movie, but yeah, Polar Express, I like that.
03:03
What is...
I think I haven't seen that movie.
Polar Express is an animated film.
It's about a kid who, in an ordinary neighborhood, suddenly on the day before Christmas, this train, this big huge train comes.
Okay.
Comes stopping right next to his house.
Oh, suddenly?
Super suddenly.
They build a rail?
Yeah, it's...
Like in the night, I guess?
At night, there's just...
I don't know why, but there's the rail and there's the train, and it stops.
And you get on, and there's all these...
So many workers are there, like...
Well, that's too realistic, dude.
Like, in the sunlight.
You have to, you know, do everything.
True, I understand.
But it's a kid's film, so you have to ignore that, right?
Yeah, the rail's just there.
Don't worry about the rails.
Just don't worry about the rails, okay?
Just worry about the train being there.
The train comes, right?
The train comes.
Yeah, it arrives.
And the kid's like, "What is this?"
Yeah, of course.
Yeah, right?
And the captain goes, "Oh, this train goes to the North Pole, where Santa is."
What?
"This train goes to the North Pole."
North Pole?
North Pole is where Santa is.
Okay.
Yeah, that's what...
That's what...
No, that's like the thing...
You know what it is, right?
Okay, where is the boy living in?
I don't know, somewhere in the US.
Oh.
Then it's really far from the United States, the North Pole.
Yeah, it's supposed to be far.
I know, but it's an imaginary thing, right?
So you gotta...
Forget about the logistics.
How to put a rail...
No, don't worry about the logistics.
...like the long one.
It's a long rail that leads to the North Pole, right?
Okay.
Wherever it is.
Okay.
And so it's...
The kid gets on.
Oh.
Right?
The kid gets on.
I don't know how that was surprising and not understandable.
So the kid gets on, right?
Must be expensive.
Ticket must be expensive because...
Well, he looks in his pocket and there's a ticket magically in his pocket.
So he doesn't pay anything.
Wow.
It's a thing.
Okay.
Yeah, it's a thing in the movies, right?
It happens, right?
And there's all these musicals, right?
Of how joyful Christmas is.
And the train goes through all these like...
What, like...
Difficulties and barriers, right?
Difficulties?
Right, there's ice cracks.
Ah, okay.
There's like animal crossing over the rail and shit.
Yeah.
All that stuff.
Huge monsters.
No monsters.
There's no monsters.
Okay.
It's not a monster movie.
Dementor things.
No, no, no.
That's Harry Potter.
Voldemort.
That's Harry Potter.
Yeah.
Right?
And then there's Santa City.
North Pole.
North Pole.
And it's about the kid starting to not believe in Santa, right?
06:03
Okay.
Right, but after going through, he kind of believes Santa.
Of course.
That's the gist of the story.
Okay.
Right?
And the visuals is beautiful.
It's peaceful.
Oh.
But I fall asleep every time.
But they're still good.
It's still a good movie.
Okay.
But I already know the plot.
Okay.
And yeah.
It's too pretty.
Yeah.
And yeah.
It's too peaceful to hear.
Yeah.
But it's a good movie.
Okay.
Yeah.
And then he returned to his house, right?
Yes.
He returns to his house.
By riding the same train.
Yeah.
Not really.
How?
Not really.
How?
It's a different method.
Oh, really?
I actually forgot I was asleep on that scene.
Yeah.
You're always in a sleep.
Yeah.
I kind of forgot.
Yeah.
But I'm sure it wasn't the train.
It was some other method.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You can check that out on the film.
Okay.
So it's North Pole?
Train?
North Pole.
It's North Pole.
Polar Express.
Polar Express is the name of the film.
Okay.
Yeah.
Must be like the very Christmas movie.
Every Christmas season, if you go to Tsutaya, it's all sold out.
Oh, really?
You can't.
Yeah.
You can't watch it.
You can't watch it.
They've already sold it, but now with Netflix, you can watch it.
Oh.
You never have to worry about sold out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, I didn't know that movie.
Yeah.
Sounds interesting.
Another actually Christmas film that I saw this season was Love Hard.
It's a Netflix original.
Okay.
It should have to be on Netflix.
Okay.
But it's about there's this Asian comedian that's very famous.
Jimmy is the name.
Okay.
Jimmy.
Is it real?
It's a real comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
He's a stand up comedian.
And he's the main role.
It's about meeting people online.
Like it's like a dating app, right?
He pretends to be like this really sexy white guy.
Okay.
And he's impersonating it.
And he matches with the other main character who's a white lady, very pretty.
And he's looking, she's looking for the right.
He's looking for the one, the perfect guy.
And they match and they communicate and they talk on the phone.
But they never FaceTime, right?
They just, and then Christmas.
He's like, let's meet on Christmas.
And then they meet and that's where the story begins.
Wow.
Yeah, it's pretty funny.
It's a comedy film.
It's a comedy film.
It's a comedy film slash heartwarming film.
So recommend it.
Oh, that sounds really interesting.
It's not like documentary thing.
It's not a documentary.
It's on the plot and yeah.
Oh wow.
Yeah.
It's a comedy film.
Oh wow.
That sounds really interesting.
Well, love heart.
Love hard.
09:00
Wow.
Love hard.
I want to see that one.
It's good.
It's interesting.
It's not interesting.
It's more funny.
It is satisfying.
And yeah.
It's heartwarming.
Oh cool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I want to see that one.
It kind of teaches you a lesson, right?
Okay.
It was a good lesson for me too.
Like, yeah.
It's a movie or drama.
It's a movie.
Movie.
Yeah.
It's like an hour and a half movie.
Yeah.
Wow.
I really want to see that one.
Yeah, it's good.
It's good.
Any of your recommendations?
Wonder films?
I saw the Spider-Man.
The new one.
Yeah, the new one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It was really nice.
Really?
Have you ever seen Spider-Man?
Yes, yes, yes.
Like all of them?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All of them?
Not all of them, I don't think so.
But yeah, several of the major films.
Yeah.
Okay.
Was it good?
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
I can't say, you know, the...
You don't want to give it away?
Yeah, but it was good.
Okay.
Yeah.
You should see all the Spider-Mans before you go.
Okay.
Yeah.
So is it like a Hokusai or something like that?
Yeah, you need to know the history.
Got it.
Everything.
All right, all right.
Wow.
Yeah.
I feel like Spider-Man's always...
You know how like...
With the presence of Netflix and Hulu's.
The movie theaters like kind of losing its power and popularity.
But like Spider-Man's, I feel like, always a film that you'd want to enjoy with a big
screen.
Yeah.
With all the action and like going through the buildings with the spiderwebs.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Into the metro and...
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, it's so amazing.
I feel like it's like a screen action thing that you'd want to enjoy on theaters.
True.
Yeah.
Whole sound and you know, vibrations and everything.
Yeah, so nice.
And at the end...
Oh, I can't say that.
I can't say this.
No, no.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What's it called?
Spider-Man...
No Way Home.
No Way Home.
Yeah.
All right.
I thought Spider-Man ended on the last episode.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
They didn't?
Okay.
How many Spider-Man series?
I guess three.
That's it?
I mean, you know, this is three Spider-Man series.
Oh, you know, from one is from Marvel.
One is from Disney Pixar.
I don't know.
But you know, it's really complicated Spider-Man.
Should I watch all of them?
Yeah, that's better.
Okay, got it.
And each story has like two movies on it.
Really?
Yeah.
Dang.
That's complicated.
Yeah, because Spider-Man is really like popular and big.
Right.
So it's really complicated from like so many different companies.
12:01
And yeah.
All right.
That's all for this.
All right.
Thanks for listening, guys.
Bye-bye.
Bye bye.
