no seki no hanashi desu okay watashi wa kochi shushin nano desu ga okay kochi niwa "henpai" to iu osoroshii
shukan ga arimasu. "henpai" yes. "kaesu" "hai" kanpai no PAI. yes yes. dou iu koto ka to iu to yama-chan san ga kevin san ni
boku no gurasu wo kara ni shite kevin ni watashimasu. okay.
de o sake wo sosoge masu. I sosoge. I'm not sure. okay got it someone's gonna sosoge me or you right okay.
then kevin san ga nomihosanai to boku wa osake ga nomenai no de hanashinagara
glasu ga fuku no wo mada ka mada ka to machimasu. okay. because that's my cup. okay. nomihoshita
sore wo nomu. okay. you got your own cup back. yeah. soko ni kake san ga kite kevin san ni kake san no kara ni shita

glasu wo watasu. okay. and then same thing happen. okay. to itta koukei ga kurikaesaremasu. okay. haa. so when you empty your cup
yeah you can use that empty cup to make somebody drink. yeah. is that give you a
cup and wait until it will be empty. okay. and then return. well okay I think you
should just get a new cup you know if you're gonna give that cup away and
gonna wait just get yourself a new cup enjoy your beer or whatever while
somebody else can take care of that cup. of course. that's a tradition. oh okay.
tradition in kochi. okay.
okay. alright. so you go all the way over there to that thing. got it. and hi and say
ahh. start conversation and then okay. that's a good thing. it's a communication kind of game. yeah.
yeah. oh.
yeah. yeah.
mm-hmm.
mmm.
do you have any?
um. it's not the u.s. but like i'm curious about the the manners in korea.
korea?
yeah. of like like did they do this? what's going on there? do you know?
uh yeah um they they they hide their
yeah they hide their mouth.
yeah yeah.
while drinking.
yeah.
what's going on there?
um i guess in korea it's unpolite if you drink alcohol or drink things in front of elder people.
got it.
so you have to hide it and empty it.
oh so does that go on only on the first round or does it go forever?
yeah forever.
really?
yeah um it's really um same here in japan but quite strict about the
jōge kankei?
yeah jōge kankeis.
yeah.
so um especially uh like nomikai things i um i've heard that it's really strict you have to you know
always take care about elder guys elder people.
the glass is empty or not?
all those things and it's unpolite if you're drinking from elder people like that so you have
06:03
to hide it.
that's what i um i've heard it.
okay i see.
yeah so maybe that's the custom.
okay.
yeah.
i don't remember the last time where i've been in a
a table where i have to take care of all that.
in japan?
yeah.
like nomikai things?
yeah like the nomikai that i attended when i was a shakaijin was those people didn't really care
about those manners so i didn't really have to like be the guy who you know oh yeah yeah have
this have this well i did a little bit but it wasn't like no just sit down yeah we got this
just yeah do your thing man like kind of like that because that was a gaisha?
yeah yeah um so i actually have really never attended a nomikai where it's like so strict
and like there's actually rules applied and like yeah yeah have you uh yeah was your company
you know when i was in a company um um but the usual nomikai isn't that strict okay um
because we know each other okay it's kind of of course it's not friend nomikai like me and you do
but um it's not that strict but the thing is um if you have table together with suppliers or like
business partners got it or like set dies kind of those things were really you know strict and we had
had to do those things properly okay properly you know right right right do you get like do do your
does your boss get angry when you don't behave the way that you should be like yeah what are you
doing you the glass is empty yeah go get them i mean not the place of course but after yeah after
at the place you know like oh wow they tap your shoulder yeah yeah like okay like yeah yeah
the gesture is not noticeable because you shouldn't be noticed by the uh right right right right so like
he just yeah yeah or like the little signs and that was kind of um um fun to me it was kind of
game you know okay not be noticed by trying to act i should do um it's not nomikai to me that was
just it's a game yeah it's a game that's uh not the place i where i can eat things have fun or
have fun or anything no just just that was just job and kind of game okay yeah yeah well that was uh
09:04
um good experience is that enjoyable for you or um at least like two or three times
oh then after that yeah after that it's just boring yeah um kind of um yeah how fast
do you want to go home like what's your limit on you actually being able to enjoy the table
those um it's like if it's a set die for me it's about it's about 40 minutes okay maximum 40 minutes
and after that 90 percent of times i kind of want to go home okay be alone okay huh
that's a difficult question um
my limit is not like time but one if one is start talking about the same topic
same thing yeah again okay then i would be boring i would be bored yeah okay um if one is speaking
new things brand new things yeah then i it's fresh to me okay i can hear that and i can kind of um
learn things from that so i i'm happy about that because he's a new one new guy okay i won't live
yeah um if even if i don't agree with his life yeah that's okay it's just that new story
i see but then if one is start talking the same topic then okay i i i heard that
and like to me that's done yeah so um that's the limit yeah that could be like 30 minutes
could be like four days maybe do people talk have you met somebody that repeats their own story
in 20 minutes um not third to me yeah but i yeah really yeah that's ridiculous like especially like
one who has one big proud story uh-huh about himself oh like uh like the business i see i see
i see i see that he done he've done he's done like accomplished this like bouillou den yeah but you
then know like one or several big things and in inside and then the mister i love my bouillou
den yeah and i want to share it to the whole world yeah like if it's new that's um interesting
um the way he made a success um that's interesting story but yeah yeah
12:02
all right yeah
i mean if you want to tell your bouillou then social media is the place to do it
oh really yeah yeah i mean people would if they want to hear you like start a tiktok live on it
the only the people who wants to hear it will be there it's so much better
sure and you can do it as much as you like true true you know me guy you can't leave
exactly you can't leave right so you have to force people to yeah you know hear your story so
Thanks for sitting guys!
