で、ご自身が作ったにんにくを実際食べてみて、その感想をこのスタイルで流してくださったものを、 Iate the garlic I made, and the teacher gave me areview.

僕は作業をしながら、にんにくの作業をしながら、 I was working on thegarlic,
先生の横顔をチラッチラって覗いていたんですけど、 and I was looking at theteacher's profile.
スマホを渡して、もう3分くらいだったかな、その放送は。 I handed him mysmartphone, and I think it was about 3 minuteslong.
ずっと聞き入ってました。 I was listening all the time.
そして、顔がものすごく笑顔というか、 And his face was reallysmiling.
なんかこう、私が作ったにんにくが、こんなに美味しくいただけるんだとか、 I could readthat the garlic I made was so delicious.
なんかそういう感じに読み取れたんですね、僕は。 I could read it like that.
微動だにせず、その音声をずっと聞き入っている姿っていうのが、非常に印象に残っています。 Iremember that I was listening to the teacher'svoice all the time.

冗談でもなんでもなくて、本当に注文が今殺到しています。 I'm getting a lot oforders right now.
で、中には1キロ購入してくださった方であったり、 One of them bought 1 kgof garlic.
やっぱり嬉しかったのが、お友達にお裾分けしたいとか、 I was happy because Iwanted to share the garlic with my friends
知り合いにお裾分けしたいから、1キロとか、 or my acquaintances.
中にはね、2キロを今検討されていらっしゃる方もいるんですけども、 Some of them areconsidering 2 kg now.
でも、そうやって自分以外の方にも、食べてもらいたいとか、 I'm really happy that
お土産で渡したいとか、そういうことが自然に起こっているっていうのが、 I'm able togive souvenirs to other people.
僕も本当に嬉しいです。 I'm really happy about that.
で、これはまさに僕がやりたかった、 This is exactly what I wanted todo.
一番初めにご褒美出すっていうのを自分が食べて、 It's delicious to give areward at the beginning,
これをもっともっといろんな人に食べてもらいたいっていう思いで始めたのが最初だったんですけども、 soI wanted more and more people to eat it.
それが今なんかできているっていうことに非常に喜びを感じつつ、 I'm very happy thatI'm able to do that now.
今までやってきたことが何か実りつつあるなっていう感じがしています。 I feel like I'vedone a lot of things so far.
で、そのお裾分けをもらったお友達であったり、 My friends and acquaintances
またこれが美味しいっていうことで、またその方の知り合いとか友達とかにお裾分けなんかっていう風で、they all like it, so I think I'm able to
少しずつだけど着実に広がっていくっていう仕組みができているのかなってちょっと感じたんです。spread it out little by little.
で、やっぱり届いた方はご存知かと思いますけども、 I'm sure some of youalready know this,
一つ一つ手書きのメッセージが書いてあるんです。 but each of them has ahandwritten message.
正直あれはね、手間だと思います。 To be honest, I think it's a lotof work.
で、ちょっとニンニクの絵が書いてあって、そこに色をつけているんですね。 There's apicture of garlic on it, and it's colored.
だから本当はね、なんだろう、もっと値段を高くしてもいいのかなって思うんだけども、 So Ithink it's okay to make it more expensive,
でも、それ以上にやっぱり食べてもらいたいっていう思いも僕が強いし、 but I also wantthem to eat more than that.
あとは先生も、そういう、なんだろう、怒ったことが好きなんですね。 And my teacheralso likes to get angry.
だから、通常の、ただ送るっていうだけじゃなくて、 So, it's not just aboutsending it,
そこにひと手間があるから、また買いたいとか、また食べたいとか、 I think it's a lotof work, so I want to buy it again, or I want toeat it again.
そういう生産者の顔が想像できるとかね、見たことない顔だと思うんだけども、 I think it'sa face that I've never seen before,
勝手に想像を膨らましていただけたら、 but if you can expand yourimagination,
またより一層、なんかこのニンニクっていうのが違う海での旨味であったり、 I think thisgarlic will bring out the umami and the deliciousness of a different sea.
美味しさっていうのを引き立ててくれるのかなって感じています。 I think it willbring out the umami and the deliciousness of adifferent sea.

やっぱり、やってて良かったなって思うし、 I'm glad I did it,
これからもニンニク以外にもさつまいもであったり、柿であったり、 and from now on, I'd like to connect more with farmers
もっともっと僕自身も農家さんと繋がっていきたいっていうのを強く思いました。 like sweetpotatoes and persimmons.
