A 37-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to set fire to his own room.
On the 11th, Maebashi Higashi Police Station arrested a 37-year-old man from Maebashi City on suspicion of attempted arson of an occupied building.
The man was arrested on suspicion of using a gas stove to set fire to paper and other items in the kitchen of the public housing he lives in at around 11pm on the 9th, in an attempt to set fire to the room.
