In order to promote the creation of a multicultural city,
the Isesaki City International Association will hold Japanese language classes at companies where foreign residents work,
to teach them about Japanese and everyday life rules.
This is the first such initiative in the prefecture, and this project was selected as a model project for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "SDGs Future City" in May. The classes will be held in corporate conference rooms and other locations for people aged 16 and over who live, work, or study in Isesaki City, and the instructors will be members of the "Isesaki Japanese Language Volunteer Association," an NPO organization commissioned by Isesaki City.
