Welcome to “Heartwarming Buddhist Stories: Houwa no Ki.”
I’m challenging myself to share Buddhist teachings in English. My English may not be perfect, but I hope you’ll enjoy listening and join me on this journey.
In this talk, I reflect on a simple question: Why do we have two ears and only one mouth?
We often think about what we want to say. But perhaps Buddhism invites us to listen more carefully—to the people around us, to our own words, and to the voice within ourselves.
I hope this short Buddhist talk gives you a moment to pause, listen, and reflect.
Thank you for listening, and please take things at your own pace.
