Taipei Main Station is one of Taiwan’s busiest transportation hubs. After 19 years, the company operating its shops and restaurants is changing from Breeze Center to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. In this episode, we look at how Breeze transformed the station into a popular commercial space, what happened behind the competition for the new contract, and how Shin Kong Mitsukoshi plans to renovate the station. We also discuss whether the familiar black-and-white checkered floor may soon disappear.
