牛乳の違いについて
Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast. Hello. Hello.
Okay, this is from Saki Mama-san. I feel like we've got many
questions about like foods. Food? Foods. Foods? Yeah. What do you mean? What do you like?
Like breads. So I'm going to read. This is about milk. Okay, got it.
Okay. No, I'm sorry. I thought it was just a general question in Japan, but
no, it was when you're in the US. When you're in the US. Yeah. What milk is closest? Yeah, to the
Japanese milk. That's a hard one. Okay. All of the milk in America is kind of, it's lighter. Yeah.
So it's thinner. So how are we going to find a similar, that's difficult. That is kind of
difficult. Okay. We've had raw milk from Erwan, remember? Yes. Did you? Just a little bit? Yeah.
But I don't remember the taste. I forget the taste. I thought it was kind of,
it was definitely much more denser than the usual ones you find in America.
The big ones, yeah. Yeah. But that's, but that one in Erwan is just too fucking crazy
expensive. So not really realistic, but
maybe half and half. What do you mean half and half? You know what a half and half is?
It's like a, it's like milk and cream half and half. You add it to coffee.
So it's very creamy. It's like nama cream.
Is that? I would take the half and half and then half that with the normal milk.
You mean in the US? Yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. Take a half and half. No, maybe like a 30% half and half.
Okay. 70% normal milk, normal whole milk. Wow. Okay. Maybe try that. I don't know. Maybe,
I don't know. I could, I could be saying some fucking shit, but yeah, I don't know. Potentially.
That's the first step there. Could be delicious, yeah. Yeah. Like potentially. Yeah. Is it
drinkable? The half and half? Oh yeah. I mean, you put it in coffees. Oh, I see. So you don't
drink that like this? Like directly? Yeah. Oh no. You, you would. Well, I mean, I mean like
fat cells do, but yeah. I mean, yeah. Of course. Why not? Yeah. Of course. Why not? It's drinkable.
It is drinkable. You, you can drink them. Yes. If you wish to. Yeah. I mean, people, Japanese
drink mayonnaise directly. Yeah. Of course. Of course. Of course. Right. Yeah. You, you can,
you can do that. You can do that. There are people called people. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Directly on rice. I see. Why not directly to the mouth? Right. Okay. Just like that. Just like
half and half. You can do that. Is that big thing in the U S half and half? Cause I've never heard
it. Huge. Very big. Is that, how do you use that? Is that only for me? For the coffee? Yeah. It's
usually for a coffee. Okay. I remember we did a dirty soda. Yeah. I remember the name, but what?
牛乳の味と作り方
Yeah. So I think it was Dr. Pepper. Oh, with the, with cream and lime and yeah. Lime and lemon,
maybe if I remember correctly. Yeah. So we used cream, but the authentic recipe is a half and
half. Okay. Half and half. Yeah. Like I like at hotel buffets, you're more likely to find a half
and half than not. I would say to add it to the coffee. Yeah. I see. So that makes sense to me.
Like sounds like reasonable. Basically you, you mix with thinner, lighter milk with a kind of
creamier one. Yeah. Right. So to replicate that creaminess, right. Yeah. But I'm not sure if the
simple creaminess is, is the answer to getting closer to Japan because I'm sure there's different
factors into how Japan milk is made. So yeah. Yeah. But that's my first step though. I would
go from that. I really want the Japanese milk. So it's really rare. You, if you want to find
Japanese milk in the U S it's really difficult. Even you go to like Japanese supermarket.
Oh yeah. If you go to a Japanese super, maybe you can find it. Maybe. Yeah. Maybe. Okay. Maybe
you can find the, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's possible. I don't know. Okay.
Okay. Yeah. Or I, I may, I may try. Okay. So the, the reason why the taste is different is
America, sakking, sakking is their milk at a high temperature, Japan with a lower temperature.
So maybe look for an American milk brand that sakking is their milk at a lower temperature.
Then it would give it a similar flavor. Yeah. Because high, high, high temperature kills all the,
the, you know, the, the, the quote unquote milk flavor. So I say, yeah. Maybe look for that.
Yeah. It's a better bet. Yeah. Or maybe you just go to the farm and just directly just
chew their fucking milk. Right. Yeah. Why not? It's the same. Yeah. Cows are the same. Yeah.
Get yourself a fucking farm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And just cows are the same. Yeah. Hi to say hi to
like a farm owner and just can I get a. Yeah. Can I get some of your fucking milk? Yeah.
Sure. Go ahead. You can suck on them directly.
Have you ever drank a cow milk directly? Um, I think so. Yeah. Shit. Yeah. Is it good? Yeah.
Is it warm? Yeah. Fuck. Yeah. I, if I remember correctly though. Yeah. I feel like, yeah. When I
went to like farm places, I think so. It was an opportunity where I think so. Yeah. Damn. Or
it wasn't like, no, like direct thing. But I did it with this. You did that. Yeah. And then,
and after that, I, that was when I was really kid. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Do you remember as like, if it was good or not? It was pleasant. Yeah. Oh, it was so not sure.
Okay. In my memory. Yeah. It was warm. Okay. It was sweet. Wow. And it was little, um,

um, strong smell, you know, yeah. It's more like, um, the kind of animal kind of, um, yeah,
I would say so. Yeah. It was good. Oh yeah. Wow. Yeah. I think so. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
I hope my memory is correct. Yeah. Yeah. But I did it several times when I went to,
you know, my grandparents are living in Hokkaido. So I went to like farm. Oh, sure. When I moved
to Chiba, I went to like, you know, the Narita Yume Bokujo, things like that. I went to, when I
was two, three, I went to Russia and do this. You did it in Russia? Yeah. I went to farm place in
Russia and did that. And I kind of, I hope my memory is correct. So you did it maybe three
times. Yeah. More than three times. That's a lot. Wow. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. The nipples are warm.
I'm sure the nipples are warm. Really kind of. Squeezable? Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. It was
little hard, like harder than I thought. Really? Yeah. Oh, wow. How hard is it? I mean,
um, it's really difficult to. Yeah. Just, um, let's try to describe it without being inappropriate
with our languages and, uh, let's try to like be as clean as, let's say three-year-old kids are
listening to this and describe it to them without the parents being angry. Okay. Yeah. Okay. How
hard were the nipples? Um, okay. Um, I'd say, so in between, um, you know, there are the balloons,
water balloons. Yes. You put water in the balloon. Yes. In between that and the horse, you know,
the horse that you use in the gardens. Oh yeah. Like the green. Yeah.
Fuck. That's so difficult to comprehend. That's just, oh, it's so random. Um,
there's just one analogy that I do want to say, but I can't, it's just too inappropriate.
Yeah. I guess I see that. You see what, are you seeing what I'm seeing? Yeah. And I feel like
that's, is that the same? Okay. Then I don't need to ask any more questions then. Yeah. I think I
got it. Yeah. You know? Okay. I see. So yeah. Got it. Got it. It's like that, huh? Yeah. Okay.
Yeah. Okay. I see. I see. A little harder than that. Do you, a little harder than that? Yeah.
I feel like the skin is like really thick to me. Ah, I see. Thicker skin. Yeah. Makes sense. Yeah.
Do you think if you pull too hard, the cows are going to just sort of like, ow,
don't be pulling too hard. No. Or is it like, I don't think it's like numb.
I don't think they're numb. Uh, but I, yeah, the, the, the, the farmer, they told me that you have
to pull it like, well, I was kids, so I don't know how strong that was, but I had to like, do
it like, like really pull it down strongly. Like do this. I see. By the way, I do this.
Like, kind of like that. Oh, so make sure that your fingers just squeeze, like just squeeze
牛の乳搾りと牧場体験
in order from top to bottom. Yeah. I see. I see. Yeah. Well, as a kid, I felt like I need a power.
Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay. So I see. I'm not sure. Not as an adult. Maybe not. Maybe not.
But it looked like we were really like fast and strong. I see. I see.
Just didn't even give a shit. Yeah. Probably don't even know that if you squeeze.
Shit. Man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Tough shit. The chill. And like, you know, flipping the tail.
Man. Yeah. What an experience, man. Yeah. I guess you can do that if you go to like
those farm places. I guess so. Like I've never heard of the Chiba. Ime Bokujo. Ime Bokujo. So
maybe go there. Yeah. Give it a shot. Yeah. You should. You can touch like sheeps.
And then after you go to like the restaurant and you can eat Genghis Khan. Is that a fucking thing
to do? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Shit. So, yeah. Oh, wow. Yeah. It's a great place to. I'm sure it's fresh.
I'm sure it's fresh. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's a great experience. You can go like maybe
if you have kids, that would be lovely for like a date. Good. You think it's
gonna be a great date? Yeah, I think so. Oh, really? Oh, shit. Okay.
We'll see. We'll see. We'll have to see how that goes. Yeah. You should.
All right. Thanks for watching, guys. Thank you. Bye.
