The final day of my Macau trip in 2010.
I used Starbucks in the hotel where I stayed.
I wanted to drink something non-caffeine, not sweet, but warm.
I was looking at the menu to see if there was any herb tea,
and there was chamomile tea.
So I lined up at the counter, and when I was about to order,
I didn't know how to say chamomile tea in English.
I'll try to say it in a pronunciation that might sound like it,
but when I was in trouble for a few days, the clerk gave me a note and a pen.
I went to the menu board at the entrance,
and when I handed the note to the clerk,
he accepted it with a smile and paid the bill.
I was relieved and waited, and what I got was an ice cream caramel macchiato.
It was the exact opposite of hope.
I got it, but what the hell happened?
