いつも英語の勉強で楽しく聞いています。
私は最近英会話スクールに通い始めたのですが、
英語の簡単なやり取りの文を暗記してと言われ、思ったことがありメールをしました。
私は鹿児島県出身なのですが、
鹿児島では高校生になると600選という英語の例文が600文のった小冊子のような本が配られます。
検索したら鹿児島あるあるとしてすぐに出てきます。
そしてほとんどの学校でそれを暗記するという小テストが行われていました。
文章の内容は例えば、
She is now making coffee in the kitchen.
Don't talk with your mouth full.
He was not able to get rid of that bad habit.
To my surprise, the car began to move by itself.
日常で使えそうなものから、いやこれいつ使うねんみたいなものまで様々です。
高校生の時は正直これを覚えて役に立つのかなどと思いつつ、通学のバスの中で眠い目をこすりながら覚えていたのですが、
もしかしてこの勉強のやり方って結構理にかなっていたのでしょうか。
あの頃もっと頑張って600選をやっておけば今頃英語がもっとできていたのかなとか思うとかなり後悔です。
ケビンさんヤマチャンさんはこの勉強法どう思われますか。
言語学習のアプローチ
テレビ番組に特集があるんですよね。
多くの鹿児島の人はこの勉強法を覚えていますね。
言葉を覚えながら勉強するのはいいですね。
スペイン語を勉強したことを覚えています。
アメリカでスペイン語のレッスンをしました。
二言語?

スペイン語のクラスにはルールがあったんです。
英語を話せないクラスでした。
何かコミュニケーションはスペイン語でやらないといけません。
スペイン語の教師に英語を話せないといけません。

素振りを毎日しているような感じです。

単語テストをしました。
単語テストをするとき、
全てのフレーズを記憶させるよりは
全てのフレーズを記憶させて
言語の全体の環境での使い方が良いように見えます。
その環境ですると
単語テストをするのが
プラスに見えるように見えますね。

Because sometimes, if I just memorize one word, but you cannot use it, like you can
write it, you know the Japanese 意味, but you cannot use it in a phrase sometimes.
