The other day, I was watching a game stream on YouTube,
and the streamer was playing the game in English,
so all the stories and lines were written in English.
And there was a line that I really liked.
It's the sky blue?
The direct translation is
空って青いだろう?
But in the Japanese version of the scene,
it says 当たり前だろう?
I see.
空イコール青いというのは当たり前
だから当たり前だろう?を
Is the sky blue? と表現していて
胸が熱くなるような展開で
背景にも青空が広がっていたこともあり
何て素敵な表現なんだろうと感動しました
