Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Hello.
Hey guys, how's it going?
This is from Bimi Daikon-san.
ケビンさん、山ちゃん、こんにちは。
約2年前から仕事のため本格的に英語の勉強を始め、ほぼ同時期からこのポッドキャストも聞き続けています。
Thank you.
It's like it's closed. You know what I mean?
You can't breathe in with the shape of the...
Yeah, it's closed.
Right. With that shape, with that, you know, withthat throat, go...
Yeah.
And you should do it really, like, subtly. Like, you should do it really lightly.
Don't go...
Just go...
It's very quick and very light.
Yeah, very quick and light.
Right. The more quick and light, it's harder foryou to mess it up.
I see.
Right. So quick and light is better if you're notused to it.
Nice.
So you're not... you shouldn't say that word.
Don't say that.
Don't say it.
Don't say those.
Breathe it out.
Nice.
Another Izuchi that's very easy, in my opinion,is...
Just say...
Okay.
So it's okay, but you don't say okay.
Yeah, just say...
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Nice.
Nice.
That's usable.
True.
It's not very difficult to pronounce.
03:01
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
Right.
Right.
Yeah.
Right.
Nice.
I want to work in that.
You know, I really want to work in an environmentwhere English is spoken actively.
Okay.
I do.
I do.
Like those cafes?
Yeah, like cafes and shops or corporate office orwhatever it is.
It doesn't matter, but I'm really right nowwanting a lot of English conversations.
Like, yeah, I am right now.
Where, for example, can you think?
Like, cafes?
Where?
Like, in general, if you want those places.
Look, if we're really going to look into this,it's got to be a place where they'll hire us,right?
Like, I have a main job right now.
I can't guarantee a weekly time for them.
They won't hire me.
Okay.
Where can I go to, man?
Like, ah, cool.
And I don't want to go.
I know this is like a zetaku, but I don't want togo to, like, English-speaking cafe.
Oh, yeah?
I want something more live.
I see.
I see.
Like, I want to, you know.
The real places.
I don't want to go to speak English.
I want to do something and use English as acommunication tool.
Hmm.
Huh.
I thought about timie.
Oh, yeah.
You know what timie is, right?
Like, Tsukima Baito.
But most of the times, for example, at a cafe, timie is like, osararai.
Oh, I see.
Like, the back-end stuff.
You don't actually talk to a customer, I think.
Okay.
Yeah.
Hmm.
Sure.
Maybe you just stand in this random station, andyou just do, like, private guiding service.
Is that allowed?
Is that allowed, dude?
I don't know.
I don't know.
But if you don't receive any money or things likethat, it's okay, no?
Oh.
You can just...
It's just a...
Not true.
Just a helpful...
The thing I don't like about that is...
Well, who's going to believe that a random guy ata Shizuoka station would give them a free...
Free guide.
Yeah, yeah.
Right?
It's so...
So ayashii.
Yeah.
So not trustable.
Yeah.
So sketchy.
Very sketchy.
Yeah.
Hmm.
Where else?
We ain't got one.
Hmm.
Difficult to find one.
We ain't got one, man.
If you, like, seriously think about that.
Yeah.
06:01
Yeah.
We ain't got one.
There's no place like that.
There's no place where we can do that.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
That sucks.
That sucks.
How's your French speaking, by the way?
Have you been able to speak in French recently?
No?
Oh.
No.
I need somebody.
Yeah.
Yeah.
When's the last time you, like, actually spoken...
Used French as a communication tool?
But last year.
We went to France with my family, so...
Right.
That was the last time.
Was that a good refresher for you?
Yes.
Yeah?
Yes.
That was a good chance to me.
Like, it was...
So, before that, the last time, a family trip, before that, it's like, I don't know, ten years, maybe?
That you haven't used French as a communicationtool?
Yeah.
Man.
So, it was very, very great timing, unfortunate tome, to kind of, like, refresh my French a bit.
Oh, man.
Okay.
Yeah.
But still, it's like...
Must have been very rusty.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, I need to speak it and use it regularly.
But...
Yeah.
Recently, I'm watching some YouTube videos, like,French, like, podcasters, like, you know, those, like, Vlogs and those ones.
Okay.
And try to, you know, immerse myself.
That's helpful, at least.
Yeah, at least.
Yeah.
But it's so different from those, like, the realplaces.
Real-life conversations, right?
I know.
The souls are different.
I know.
Vibes are different.
I know.
I know.
It is, man.
It is.
So...
All right.
Thanks for sending, guys.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
