Okay, wow.
Thank you.
Thank you, Mii-san.
Thank you for the topic.
Um, what I first thought was like,
if giving 120% is your personality,
and then if that's how you,
if that's your style and that's how you work,
then changing jobs might not be a solution, right?
Then on your new job, you're just gonna give it 120%,
and then you're gonna burn out and do the same thing.
So personally, I thought that wasn't the problem.
I felt like maybe it's a pressure around your co-workers
03:00
or your boss or your workplace that's making it do so.
So my first take was like, maybe look into those factors.
Maybe it's not your personality that's making,
maybe it's the surroundings that's making you do it.
And you kind of feeling burned out.
So if you really enjoying the job,
maybe go for a different company that does the same service.
Maybe do, maybe, you know, same gyoshu, right?
Then gyokai, gyoshu.
And then so you'd have like the same, you know, yari gai,
but at the same time, it's a different environment.
So maybe, you know, things might turn out differently this time.
Maybe you might not burn out.
Maybe you might not have that pressure if you are feeling that pressure.
So that's the first thing that popped into my mind when I heard that.
That's a great advice.
Yeah, that's a great advice.
Cool.
Great.
But you know, living small, if you're interested in doing that too,
I would say go for it because you don't want to live with
the regret of not being able to taste it, right?
Sure.
If you don't try it, you'll forever not know what it feels like.
And that desire of trying would just grow and grow.
Yeah.
So if you're interested in, you know, living small,
I would say go for it too.
So maybe like quit your job, live small.
And then if you're still like, if you want it, if you're hungry,
then go get that same job at a different company.
Yeah.
Great advice.
But you know, you never know, right?
I don't know the contacts and I can't, you shouldn't just...
Of course.
Completely take my advice.
You should, you know, you should really think through.
But that's my take though.
That was what I thought.
That's a great advice.
I really do think so.
Great.
Living small or being very busy and getting paid a lot,
which one do you prefer?
Oh, both.
Both.
Yeah, I agree.
You know, it's not like 100% small life or 100% just working days.
It's all about balance.
Absolutely.
So, yeah.
I would say work happily and treat like little happiness is my goal.
So it's something, I mean, it's always good to, as you said,
try to experience all those new things like living small or working really hard.
It's always a good thing to try new things.
Yeah.
But it's also a little bit dangerous that if you think like there's only two ways.
06:06
Like if you step into like small happiness life or like 100% working hard life,
and you bet everything into one side, life is not something like that.
You can have center.
You can find the best balance in between those.
Absolutely.
So, yeah.
That's what I first...
Right.
...felt.
Maybe look for what you are feeling that...
Maybe like break down why you're feeling so...
True.
...yarigai and then maybe try to replicate that on other jobs.
Maybe it could be lower paying, but maybe a little bit more like
different environment that you try out those.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
True, true.
I mean, it's so rare, I feel like, for one to be able to say that I have yarigai on my job, right?
I hardly ever hear anyone say that nowadays.
So...
Yeah.
You know, I feel like that's you being able to say that you're enjoying your job is such a gift.
You know, such a...
Right.
Such a rare thing, I feel like.
True.
I don't...
All of my friends, they're like, "I hate my job."
So...
Really?
Yeah.
Oh.
A lot of them.
Yeah.
Yeah.
True.
It's really lucky that you have such a job.
Yeah.
That's great.
Right.
But yeah.
Every time I...
We get messages like this, I feel like I'm saying it, but like there is no right answer, right?
True.
There's only what feels right at that moment.
And that's the best move you can do, right?
So there is...
You don't really have to like blame yourself if the choice that you make after a year turns out it wasn't right for you.
And it's...
That was the best decision you had, right?
That was the best move you had, right?
So you did it, you executed on it.
At least you took the action, right?
Mm-hmm.
So...
So like...
You've gained.
You didn't lose anything, right?
Yeah.
True.
You've gained experience and that's good.
So I guess, yeah, go for it.
There's no right answer.
There's only right answer.
There's no wrong answer.
There's only right answer, right?
Nice.
That's nice.
There's no wrong answer.
Right.
Wrong answer just as much as it doesn't have a right answer.
Right.
Yeah.
What's, you know, most important is continue.
Like not stopping.
09:01
Right.
To improve your life, right?
Right.
True.
Right. I like that.
I like that.
I feel like it's been a while since we talked about this topic.
Yeah.
You know?
True.
Yeah.
I love these topics.
Yeah. I love to like think deeply.
Dimply.
Yeah. Deeply.
Deeply on life and all that stuff.
Right.
Okay.
Okay.
Thanks for listening, guys.
Thank you.
Bye bye.
