環境と空気について考えてみたいと思います。 about why Japanese soccerplayers go to Europe.
日本のサッカー選手は最近、本当に多くの選手がヨーロッパでプレーしています。 Recently,many Japanese soccer players play in Europe.
なぜでしょうか。 Why is that?
私は素人なので、本当のことはわからないですけども、 I'm an amateur, so I don't know the truth,
それはヨーロッパのサッカーが世界でもトップレベルだからではないでしょうか。 but I thinkit's because European soccer is at the top levelin the world.
そして、多くのクラブ・チームが目指しているのが、その中でのチャンピョンになることです。 Andamong them, many clubs and teams are aiming tobecome champions.
世界のトップクラブがその頂点を目指して戦っている。 The top clubs in theworld are fighting for that top spot.
つまり、そこには世界一を目指す環境があります。 In other words, there isan environment where they aim to be the best inthe world.
だからこそ、日本の選手もたくさんその舞台に挑戦しているのではないでしょうか。 That's whymany Japanese players are trying to get on thatstage.
レベルの高い選手、厳しい競争、強度の高い試合、 By putting yourself inthat environment,
そういう環境に身を置くことで、自分のレベルも上がる。 you can improve yourlevel.
そう考えているからではないでしょうか。 I think so.
ここでちょっと考えてみたいことがあります。 I have a question.
人はよく、環境が大事と言います。 People often say that theenvironment is important.
確かにその通りだと思います。 I agree with that.
でも、もう一つ大事なものがあると思います。 But I think there is anotherimportant thing.
それが、空気です。 That is air.
ヨーロッパのクラブチームには、おそらく世界一になるぞ、ヨーロッパのチャンピオンになるぞという空気があるのではないでしょうか。 The European club team probably hasthe air of becoming the world champion.
そういった世界一を目指すのが当たり前、勝つために努力するのが当たり前、そんな空気です。 It isnatural to aim for the world championship, and itis natural to work hard to win.
その空気の中にいると、選手の意識も行動も変わるのではないでしょうか。 If you are inthat air, your consciousness and actions willchange.
そして、これはスポーツの世界だけの話でしょうか。 And is this only for thesports world?
実は、会社でも同じことが言えると思います。 I think the same thing canbe said in the company.
成果を出す組織には、そのチームの空気というのがあります。 The organization thatproduces results has the air of the team.

挑戦するのが当たり前だったり、学ぶのが当たり前だったり、そんな空気が組織の中にあると思います。 Itis natural to challenge, and it is natural tolearn. I think there is such an air in theorganization.

あなたの組織にはどんな空気が今流れているでしょうか。 what kind of air isflowing in your organization now?
成果を上げるのが当たり前になっているでしょうか。 Is it natural to produceresults?
そういった空気というのが、やはりスポーツの世界もですけども、 That kind of air isimportant not only in the sports world,
会社の中でも大切なんじゃないかなということで、今日は取り上げさせていただきました。 but alsoin the company.
