Hello, welcome to Letters Lane, I'm Sofia. Tonightfrom this little room I'd like to
share a letter with you. This is a quiet place, where letters gently carry the thoughts and
memories we couldn't put into words, as well asthe emotions held deep within our hearts.
Tonight too, I would like to share a letter withyou. Please, sit back, relax, take a
deep breath, and spend a peaceful moment with us.Tonight's letter is addressed to the cafeteria
lady from my high school days, the one who alwayscooked delicious meals and brightened
our lives. It is a story about ordinaryafternoons, familiar faces, and the people who,
without
us even realizing it at the time, became anintegral part of our lives. Now, I will read
this letter aloud. A letter to the cafeteria lady.Dear cafeteria lady, I'm not sure if
you'll remember me, I was just one of the manystudents who passed through your line
every day. But lately, I've been thinking aboutthose years, and I realized I never
said thank you. I remember the cafeteria more thanI expected to. The noise, the smell
of food, the long lines moving slowly whileeveryone talked over each other. And you,
always there, keeping things going. At the time,it just felt like part of the routine.
We grabbed our trays, sat with our friends, andran off to class without a second thought.
It's funny how much you miss something once it'sgone. Those lunches weren't fancy, but
there was something comforting about them. Knowingthat a warm meal was waiting. Knowing
that someone had taken the time to prepare it.That kind of thing sticks with you, even
if you don't realize it until years later. I don'tknow what you're up to these days,
but I hope things have been good to you. I hopeyou're healthy and finding things to smile
about. I just wanted you to know that someonestill thinks back on those afternoons with
a lot of warmth. You were a bigger part of ourdays than we ever let on. One of your
former students. Sometimes, a casual moment in ourdaily lives eventually becomes a memory
we cherish above all else. The lunch break, thefamiliar smile, the kindness that remains
