24th February, 2024. I am 藤原ヒロ. This is the progress report.
Today is the 24th of February, and LALA by 白泉社, I have been working for LALA for a long time.
The April issue of LALA has been released. It is a monthly issue of 24th of February.
Some of you may not know what kind of manga is serialized in this LALA magazine,
so let me explain a little bit.
I think there are many male readers of this Koenikki-kaiwai.
Of course, some of you may be familiar with my Koenikki on Twitter or SNS,
but some of you may be listening to it from the listener's point of view.
If I were to name some of the most popular manga for men,
the first one is Natsume Yujincho by Nyanko-sensei.
There is also a comicized version of Toshokan Sensou.
It is a girl's manga that is said to be a lot of fun for both men and women,
such as the situation of her boyfriend and her girlfriend or the host club of Ouran High School.
There are a lot of more famous and wonderful works, so please google them.
In this month's issue, there was also an animation release.
Congratulations on the release of the work by Akiharu Touka,
the black history of Tensei Akujo.
It's great. I think it's great that it's so exciting.
In this month's issue, a preview of the work I'm writing has been announced.
In the May issue of LALA, which will be released next month,
I will publish the full translation of the title, Kyousou Silent, on the 55-page color cover.
I think people who are attracted to this title alone, Kyousou Silent,
will love the movie.
The story takes place in Hollywood in the 1920s.
In the 1920s, it was said that it was a time of competition.
The First World War ended in 1918,
and after the war, art, culture, and society flourished,
and a great momentum was born.
In 1929, there was a civil war outside the wall,
and from there, it entered the world.
It was a real riot in the 1920s.
It was a time when jazz, flapper, and R-deco were popular.
Cars and radios spread throughout the world.
At the same time, movies were also very popular in this era.
Silent movies have been popular since the 1910s,
but in the 1920s, there was a silent movie called Talkie.
The movie we're watching now is called Talkie.
In the silent movie era, Hollywood was already very popular,
and young people with dreams were gathering,
so it was a time of splendor and chaos.
I thought that such a chaotic stage should be very interesting,
so I decided to write a book about it.
Actually, I wasn't very interested in Hollywood or the movie itself.
Even now, I'm not interested in certain actors or the situation in the industry.
I'm interested in manga, books, and movies,
but I don't watch them very much.
I think I enjoy writing and publishing more.
It's fun to read, watch, and listen to works,
but I can't accept them enough unless I'm very strong.
I feel like I'm studying.
Sometimes I think I can spend a very fulfilling time,
such as going to see a play or a concert,
but I think I need a lot of energy to continue.
I've seen a lot of movies about this work,
but I don't think there are many people who have seen it as much as I have.
It's a stage where all kinds of intense human dramas were born,
so I thought I could write something interesting.
I thought it would be possible if it was at that time.
I thought it would be possible if it was at that time.
There were a lot of things that I couldn't say in the era after the war,
such as how young people were or what was the moral of the story.
I thought I could write it naturally because it was a time of competition.
I thought I could write it naturally because it was a time of competition.
When it comes to writing the modern era,
I think it's similar to Tsukishima-kun's work, which I wrote until last year.
I think it's more realistic to have a low desire for the modern era.
I think it's more realistic to have a low desire for the modern era.
I felt that such works were more sought after.
I thought that if it was a time of competition, I could write such things vigorously.
To be honest, I think it's a pretty cool theme.
I think there aren't many people who get hooked on the idea that Hollywood is the stage of silent movies.
I've never seen a silent movie before,
so even if I was told about the theme in that state,
I was worried that I wouldn't know what the point of expectation was.
I was worried that I wouldn't know what the point of expectation was.
That's why I wrote it so that I could simply enjoy it as a manga
even if I wasn't interested in movies or Hollywood at all.
It's a very energetic heroine and a handsome hero with a shadow.
But I think it's more like a grown-up than a love story.
It's a girl manga.
It's like young people struggling to chase their dreams.
I wrote it so that I could read it comfortably.
It may be like a boy manga that overcomes difficulties with effort and guts.
When I saw it in the editing department,
I was told that it was okay to have a maid-like feeling,
so I think it's the closest to that as a tension.
In fact, there is a part that intentionally incorporates the maid-like feeling.
I started writing the name with the feeling that I would write the whole life of Misaki and Usui.
As a result, two people were born, either Misaki or Usui,
but I think a very good tag was born for me.
Now, I feel like I'm writing such two people based on the rough drawing of the name,
and I'm going to put a pen at the bottom.
I feel like I'm working at the same time.
I'd like to talk about how to proceed with this kind of work,
but today it's like an advertisement.
Actually, I was going to write everything by myself,
but I started to think that the background and time might not be enough,
so I asked my assistant for help after a long time.
Just the other day, I got a call from someone who had been my assistant for a long time,
and he said that he was looking for a job again recently.
I asked him if it would be a sudden, once-in-a-lifetime job,
and he was very pleased.
This time, I think I'll be able to deliver a very high-quality background for the first time in a while.
There are a lot of people with no name in the background,
so I'll leave the background to my assistant as much as possible
and draw a lot of people.
By the way, the 5th issue of LALA will be released on Saturday, March 23rd.
One more thing I'd like you to check out is
the short comedy by Tsuchiya Bronco.
Tsuchiya-san has an online manga show called LALALABO last year.
As a writer, I participated in the manga show as a commentator,
and I participated in it as if I were looking at various postings.
At that time, I participated in a way that was posted,
and I was a writer who felt something very shining.
LALALABO made a great debut,
and this is probably the first time it's been posted since its debut.
Bronco-san was probably the first one to be posted,
and when I decided to post it,
I was a little surprised to hear that Bronco-san was also going to be on the show.
I'm glad to be able to be with you by chance.
I'm rooting for you as a reader.
I'm going to write a comedy that says,
Hey, what's going on?
I'd be happy if you could remember Tsuchiya Bronco in the corner of your head.
It's like you're breathing heavily.
Next weekend, March 2nd, is the LISTEN event.
I should have talked about the LISTEN event last time,
so I'd appreciate it if you could listen to the previous voice diary.
I heard that there were a lot of reservations for the event,
and it seems that it has been increased in a hurry.
So I'm still buying tickets, so if you're interested, please do.
I'm going to have to start a meeting with Chris, who will be posting with me soon.
I can't wait to see how much I can talk about in 10 minutes.
