Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast. Hello, hello. Hey guys, how's it going?
So you introduced me to the products called smartpens. Yeah. Or digital pens. I'm trying to buy
one. Okay. And when you want to buy something likethese things that you haven't tried yet,
but you want to buy it. Okay. How do you collectlike information? Like how do you
do? How do you research? Yeah. I start off bygoing to YouTube. Oh, you see YouTube. Okay.
Yeah. Review videos. Right. Review videos, liketech reviewers, those people. Yeah. Maybe search
keywords of like digital pens, smart pens, orsomething like that. Yeah. And then I see ones
that have like, you know, a decent amount ofplays. Click on it. I do two or three times. Isee. And
then you'll start to see what's popular and what'snot. And then, yeah, I guess, I guess that's what
I do. I see. Videos. Videos. Yeah. Do you care ifit's like ads or not? I care if it's ads. I don't,
yeah, if it's ad, then I don't, that's not veryreliable. I would say. Yeah. Yeah. Actually. Okay.
Yeah. Yeah. That's nice. Usually I go for the onesthat they compare. Yeah. This versus this versus
this. That's usually not ads. And you know, I likethe comparison. Yeah. Nice. Nice. You get
to see the popular ones. Right. So yeah. True.Okay. Yeah. I do that. Yeah. Me too. I do that.
Yeah. When I bought the coffee grinder. Thegrinder. Coffee grinder. Yeah. I did that like,
you know, watch some videos that does comparison.Comparison. Comparison. Yeah. Yeah. In like same
range. Pressing. Okay. Okay. Okay. You know, youdon't see like articles like my best. Okay.
Yeah. I mean, I, I don't do my best or that much.Yeah. Somehow my best or I find that theirrankings
are a bit off from my actual feeling. Yeah. Liketight gum. Okay. So I kind of lost trust in them.
I see. Yeah. Okay. Okay. I'm still kind oftrusting them. Okay. Okay. Okay. Sure. Sure. Sure.Sure.
Sure. It's like, yeah. Like when there's you, you're really, sometimes you, everybody has their
own like strong field. Right. And then sometimes Ilook at, you know, my best or ranking for the
field that I'm really good at. I'm like, why isthis? Yeah. Number two. Very true. Yeah. Sothat's,
that's kind of, that kind of gets me like, is thisreliable? Like, how are they doing this?
I see. Yeah. So I have to be careful about that.Yeah. Right. Nice. Nice. Nice. Yeah.
True. Is that, so you'd go to, so video? Yeah.Sometimes my best or some internet article
you're saying? Yeah. Yeah. My best. Okay. Okay.Okay. But yeah. That it? Yeah. And videos,
my best though. And, uh, what else? Some articles.Yes. Okay. Um, I go to TikTok too. Sometimes
they have like that information. Yeah. I thinkit's like, you know, like a, kind of like a
much more, um, it's like a diet version of theYouTube. It's like squeezed into like a 30 second
video. I see. I see. I see. And yeah, I sometimes,uh, you don't go to like a, like stores,
the real, I hardly ever go to stores. You meanlike ask the store clerk? Yeah. Or like you just
tap them. Oh, like if it's like a pen you trywriting or yeah. I mean, yeah. Pen is something
highly physical. So I guess if it's a pen, I mightwant to go and check it out. But other
things I don't usually, well, backpacks. Yes.I've, I've gone and tried them on. Yes. But like,
for example, like earphones, PCs, like otherelectronics. Like, no, I don't hardly ever go,
go and try to be physical. I see. I see. Right.Right. For like this pen, I think I, I think
it's better to, yeah. To feel how it fits in yourhand. So yeah, that's true. That's true.
Yeah. I'm going to try that. Yeah. I wonder ifthey sell it though. Yeah. Yeah. Are those things
at like a Yamada Tenkyu? I don't know. Maybe youmight have to go to like these big,
like Yoshi, Yodobashi. Yodobashi. Yeah. Like thehuge ones. Yodobashi at maybe
the biggest. Biggest one, like Akihabara orsomething. Akihabara, yeah. Yeah. Ikebukuro
or something. Wow. Okay. Yeah. I see. Yeah. Yeah.Okay. Okay. Yeah. I'm going to start watching
some videos and reading some articles and see, this is the my best total. What's the, what's
number one? Ericom. And then Apple Pencil Pro.Well, that's not a physical one, right? You can't
write physically with that Apple Pencil Pro.Right. Maybe this is a, maybe it's like a, it's
for tablets. Yeah. Not like a conversion. It's allincluded. Oh, I see. See, I don't like that too.
Like, how are you, how are you going to comparephysical to digital and digital to digital?
Completely different things. Yeah. Yeah. It's not,it's not a good article. I'm sorry. Yeah.
Yeah. I don't know why my vessel doesn't doYouTube.
Maybe they do, but I don't know. But like, likeit's, it has such a potential to convert their
trust into video formats. Right. Yeah. And I mean, they do so many things, like every,
every single product. Oh yeah. Right. I mean, true. I've seen so many of them. Yeah. Yeah.
They can just film it and just put it on YouTube.Right. Right. And what's crazy about them is like,
That's true. That's true. Really? Unlimited.Unlimited. Honestly. That's true. Yeah. That's
true. Yeah. Okay. Smart pens. Yeah. I'm thinkingabout, you know, you know this,
thinking about getting a pet dog, right? Yeah. Ihave a feeling that, you know,
my vessel has done like the top pet Kenshu. That'scrazy. That's crazy. They would do that. Yeah.
We're like pet domain.
Yeah. Yeah. About my, my, my pet dog journey. Inot yet though. Not yet. Not yet. I'm still like,
it's the, it's the Kenshu, you know, I wasthinking about getting the Corgi. Okay. I don't
know if I told you this, but like Corgi, Chugata-ken, many, many, many apartments,
they don't allow Chugata-kens. They only go up toKogata-ken. I see. And mine's Kogata-ken.
I don't know. My apartment only allows Kogata-ken.So I couldn't do Corgi. Yeah. Bummer.
That different? Like, well, yeah, I mean, for me,it's like, it's not that,
Corgi is not that different from a Chihuahua.Right? In terms of size. Yeah. I can handle it.
Yeah. I can handle both. I mean, who decided likeChugata-ken or Kogata-ken? Is that, is that,
they have like strict. Oh yeah. So yeah, I thinkthey, there's a, there's a, like a universal
category. Right. Right. Even if it's like a reallysmall Corgi, like obviously not bad,
like Chihuahua-sized Corgi. If it's a Corgi, well,it's, it's categorized as Chugata-ken,
so we can't, we can't do it. Okay. Yeah. That'ssad. So now you're limited, right?
That's right. Only for the Kogata-kens. That'sright.
Now, my options are, right now I'm looking into,um, Chihuahua. Okay. And there's different types
of Chihuahuas. I'm looking for, um, long coatChihuahua. Okay. I think I've heard that name,
but I, I don't know what, what exactly was itlike. So the difference between is, uh,
obviously the length of the hair. Okay. Yeah. Isthat the only difference between just
a normal Chihuahua and a long coat Chihuahua? Ifyou cut hair, it's the same.
You have to cut it. I don't think that's the, Ithink the way that the hairs grow is different.
Okay. Okay. Like this is a long coat Chihuahua.Hmm. And, um, the other one. Yeah. Like those
ear hairs. They got, right. They got these likefancy ear hairs. Um, so these are all Chihuahuas.
Wow. See how different they are? I see. The typesof, um, the, the hair they have on their skin.
It's like, some of them's really like skin-like,some of them's really furry.
See. Long coat, smooth coat. Wow. Yeah. There'sdouble coat, single coat. It's like a suit thing.
Yeah. Or tennis, right? Yeah. I don't know whatdouble and single difference is.
You know, dogs have different seasons too. Dogshave seasons where they shed. Wow. Where their,
their skin like comes out like extremely. I don'tknow. They do. They do. Some Kenshu have a lot.
Some Kenshu don't. So like some people prefer likethis type of Kenshu because it doesn't give off
so much skin. I see. Sorry, not skin. Hair. Okay.Yeah. Yeah. What does that mean? It says doublecoat
and single coat, but it says like single coat andlike single coat. Is that what it is?
I don't know what himo is. I don't know. Yeah. Idon't know. I don't know what this is either.
Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. Honestly, Idon't know. Wow. But there's different types.Okay.
Yeah. But it's obvious what long coat and smoothcoat difference is, right? Yeah. Yeah. I can see
that. Yeah. Which one do you like, man? Uh, longcoat. You like long coat? Yeah. It looks like
it's more like soft when you touch them. Yeah, itis. Like you got a little like cushion. That's
right. That's right. That's true. Yeah. Yeah.Yeah. But isn't it like you, you cut their hair?
I don't know. I don't think so. I don't think so.I don't think so. No, I don't think so. I don't
think. Well, maybe you can for like a week make along coat look like a smooth coat. Okay. But
smooth coat can never look like a long coat. Ithink their hairs just don't grow like that.
Like a long coat chihuahua. I see. I see. Yeah.
I thought you were talking about just long hair, just booboo hair. No, no, no. I'm not
talking about hairstyles here. But yeah, differentcolors, you know, different colors of chihuahua.
Yeah, I see. Hmm. Which one do you prefer? I'mlooking for a black and white long coat chihuahua.
So the tongue. So yeah. Tongue. Uh, yeah. Thecolors kind of like this is a long,
uh, smooth coat, but I think the color in terms ofcolor. Yes. Kind of like that.
Is that rare? No, it's not rare. I think you'd seeit all the time. Can you just go back to the
previous page? Sure. Sure. Is it? Oh, we see. What? Don't know. I was just miswatched.
It looked like a potato to me. Hold on. When youlooked at the words Usui Beiju,
you thought it was a potato? What happened, man? They told me about the color. Yeah.
Yeah. You really should avoid the screens, man. Goback to physical.
This is a black long coat chihuahua. I think, Ithink, I think she looks cute. Yeah. Okay.
Wow. Right? Yeah. Long coat, black and white.Yeah. Yeah. Give me your honest opinion. I think
she looks cute. I don't know. Just give me yourhonest opinion. I mean, honestly, it looks like
a professional model. He or she, I don't know, buthe's got like the face, you know, he's like,
uh, do you know what I'm saying? Like he's gotlike, um, like professional. Oh, like the dog's
professional. Okay. Okay. Okay. Interesting. That's what I respect. You know, it's always
interesting what your views are on dogs. I don'twant to show you a corgi. Yeah. Like short legs
and like a bit long body. That's right. Yeah. Lookat that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What do you,
what do you think about him, man? They're cute. They're cute, right? Especially they're running
like this. This one. Yeah. Yeah. What's so cuteabout what do you, it looks like they're,
they're not good at doing sports. Ah, I see. Isee. That's what I cute. Yeah. Not like physical,
like facial things like that, but that, you know,I understand. I understand. Like very,
like when you throw a ball, obviously they're verybad at finding them. Okay. Okay. That that's,
that's cute. I see. I see. Yeah. The thing iscorgi is, um, sometimes very athletic. Oh,
really? Yeah. They're very fast. Sometimes that'sfunny. You should see a corgi one really fast.
Corgi. Really? Yeah. They're really fast. Canthey, uh, how about this one?
First in the 12 inch class. Kirby. I watch thisall the time. These like Olympic games, like dogs.
What is it? Is it like what? Like aninternational? Yeah. It's like an internationaldog
Olympics game. They have that. Okay. Kirby's notthat fast. This is not that fast. Okay. There
are some wild speed dogs out there. Really? Yeah. Not the fastest. Not the fastest corgi. Decent.
Pretty fast. Like he's trying his best. Yeah. It'scute. That's cute. Right? Yeah. It's cute.
Yeah. Oh, Oh, Oh, cute dog. Right. Cute dog. Ilove this, but like some of the faster ones
that you just see, like, I don't know, maybe thisis probably a fast one. Okay. Okay. This was a
slow one. I love it. Wow. That's right. Very cool.Very fast. Very cool.
What, what makes differences? I don't know. Idon't know. Is it? It's well, definitely,
first of all, the way their bones are built, youknow, amongst the different, uh, types of dogs,
right? Long legs, you know, sometimes, you know, muscular body as well. Well, that makes a
difference, but even within the same species typesof dogs, they're different, you know,
athleticisms. So I'm not sure what makes adifference though. It's like human beings.
It's like human beings. Oh, I like that. Yeah.Yeah. Wow. I mean, seeing like they're doing
like they're in action makes me feel like they'recute or cool. Like, oh yeah. Okay. Okay. Wait,
wait, much than just watching some pictures, likestanding out there. Yeah. That is wow.
That is so you, man. That's exactly how you think.I, right. Yeah. I love those lights. Very slow
ones. Yeah. Dog, right. Maybe this one, this one'sa slow one. Oh, I love that.
Well, he knows what to do. He knows that you haveto go in spirals and he's doing it,
but really, really slow. Very clever. He tried toeat something on the side.
What was going to be the crowd favorite? Iguarantee it. Okay. What's going on? Is that
Oh, that's it. Fine. We're good to go. We're goodto go. Yay.
