メガネのレンズの利点
Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Hello.
So you notice something different here?
Oh, you got the glasses.
Anything, uh, you notice something about the glasses?
Without the glasses itself, yeah?
Yes!
Without the lens, right?
So you noticed. It's recognizable.
Um, yes, like this, yes.
But I'm not sure through the...
Through the camera if it's, like, recognizable or not.
Check, check for me.
Oh, I don't think people recognize that.
So this is not recognizable?
Yeah, I don't know why,
but apparently, like,
like a
glass-ish
lightning is
in the flame.
Really?
That's impossible.
It's strange, but it looks like you're having
something, um...
Some sort of a glass...
Yeah, in there.
Oh, that's weird.
I don't know why.
Oh, it's really, really not noticeable.
Okay, that's cool, that's cool.
I like it better. I like it better this way,
because it doesn't clog up the fucking...
my sight.
It gets dirty, you know.
I don't have to clean the lenses anymore.
I like it better.
You wipe them every time, yeah?
Especially when...
Remember last time we did that
agemono kikaku?
What was it?
You got your fucking oil spilling everywhere.
When you look at your glasses,
you have dots of, like, fucking oil.
It's terrible. And you wipe it,
and that smears all over the fucking glass,
and that's disastrous.
I like it better without the lens.
If this works, I'll do it with the ones
that I have now. This is like a cheap one,
like a Uniqlo version.
It looks really good.
Really? Yeah, it's 2,000 yen, man.
Does it look... Oh, nice.
I mean... Nice.
メガネのレンズ取り出し
Luxury, I would say.
Oh, really? Is that L?
Luxury? Luxurious?
I spent, like...
However, though, I spent, like, an hour
trying to get the lens out.
Dude, do you know how hard it is
to get the lens out of the glasses?
It is terrifying. It is so hard.
Okay. So hard.
Is it, like,
something like a glue thing,
or, like, it's like puzzles?
It's just attached inside.
There's no glue, I don't think.
It's just, like...
Okay, but you still need...
Basically, you just gotta push it out,
but it's the force needed to push it out.
There's a fine balance between
not breaking the glass frame
and popping the lens out.
That's really difficult, though.
What I did was I took a drill.
I drilled a hole in the lens.
Yeah, I drilled, like, multiple holes
in the lens.
And I made, like, the structural integrity
weaker, and I pushed it out.
That was still a hell of a job.
But that was...
Yeah, I had to go through all that shit.
レンズの形状と評価
It was terrifying.
That's funny. That's a funny story.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But, yeah.
My lens here.
Great.
What do you think about the lens itself?
The shape of the lens?
The glasses, you mean?
Yeah. It's great.
I've worn that one.
Oh. Try it on for me.
Yeah. Let's see if it looks good on you.
This is Uniqlo, so like...
Oh, it's really light.
It's nice.
I mean, it doesn't have the lens.
Right.
No, no, no.
I want to see you on again.
That was not a fair assessment.
I'm sorry. Let me look at you again
with the glasses on.
I'm sorry. I should've spoken something
to make you not feel awkward.
メガネの反射と印象
No, I don't want you to say
be forced to say something good.
Be just you are.
I didn't say anything, right?
So let me just look at you.
Yeah.
No, no, no.
I want to see you on again.
What do you mean?
I was thinking of something to say.
I was thinking of how
it looks good on you or not.
You don't have to think about anything
if it looks good.
I want to see you with the glasses on.
I mean, I did.
I want to see it again.
Because it was...
See, it's just...
It's my ICL.
What do you mean?
They're not the hollow glares
that I get.
I still get this reflection
of the light.
Really distracting.
When you see something really bright.
That's right.
Your face is so bright.
I'm not lighting.
But the background, though.
The curtain and the sunlight
coming through the gap of the curtain
that's really giving me that hollow glare.
Really difficult to look at your face.
I just need...
Just put it on.
We're closing the...
I'm sure it's like...
Is it like a really tiny...
Enough to get me the glare.
I want you to put it on.
Don't look at me directly.
Can you look at there?
It looks more natural.
People don't look at you directly in the face.
Look at over there.
They don't look at you.
You only see the...
But that's what the majority of people will see.
So that's an even fair...
Yeah.
Like that?
Like that?
Yeah, you look great.
You look great.
You do look great.
This is a type of glass that
it's kind of hard to find
anybody who looks bad on this.
It's such a very classic, normal

brand glass.
Yeah.
It looks plain, though.
It looks very normal.
Right?
I like it.
Really?
Yeah, I liked it.
Did you buy your glasses, though?
Not yet.
When are you gonna buy your glasses, Dan?
I don't know.
Not anytime soon?
Yeah, anytime soon, I'm sure.
In a few days.
A few days, maybe?
Okay.
Yeah, I mean, but that one
you can buy at Uniqlo, right?
It's a sunglasses.
Oh, I see.
So it's not like...
No.
Thanks for listening, guys.
Thank you.
Bye.
