風邪と夢の不思議
Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Guys, in the last episode you mentioned about the dreams that you see.
Yeah.
You often see when you get sick or fever.
Yeah.
And me too, I have like this specific dream that I see when I get fever.
Okay.
And it's like some kind of rounded shape, kind of white, yellow thing.
It's like a kind of like a dough of bread.
Okay, like a pizza dough?
Yeah, it's round.
And it comes here and getting bigger and just go farther and getting smaller.
Okay.
Like this.
And it sometimes like get spiky like that.
Okay.
And become like a round again.
Oh, so it changes the shape of it.
And just come closer.
That's the dream I see when I get fever.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's so interesting.
It's so scary.
Dreams usually have much more realistic visuals, right?
Right.
What's the background?
What's the surroundings?
I don't know.
Is it white?
That's scary if it's pure white.
I think it's pure black.
There's nothing.
I just see that guy.
There's nothing and just round something.
Kind of similar to the nothingness of a space.
Yeah, I guess so.
And that's very scary to me.
Every time I see that dream, I'm like, I'm so scared.
Yeah.
地震の夢
Do you have any of those like specific?
Yeah, I do.
I've actually haven't seen this dream in quite a while.
Um, and you know, this time I didn't see it as well.
So I'm standing.
Probably Ibaraki.
Oh.
Yeah, where my grandma is, right?
But my grandma's nowhere to be seen.
You're in the town?
I'm in the town, yeah.
Okay.
Right, I'm standing.
I'm outside.
Okay.
I'm standing, right?
And there's this building across from me.
It's like, um.
How far is this?
Um, it's like, uh, the building's like a five minute walk.
No, three minute walk.
Yeah.
It's like that far away.
Like you can see, like if somebody was standing by the windows, you can see kind of their facial
expressions.
Okay, okay.
That's how far it is.
It's not that far.
It's not that far.
Yeah.
And, um, and, um, an earthquake happens.
Okay.
Right.
And then this crack appears.
The ground starts to crack.
Okay.
Between me and the building.
不思議な夢の象徴
Right, and then it's all shaky.
Yeah.
It starts cracking.
I'm like, oh, shit.
And there's this woman standing on the top of the roof.
Just looking up.
Looking up?
Yeah, looking up.
I'm looking at that woman.
Yeah.
And, um, I don't know who she is.
Oh, you don't know who she is.
Okay.
Yeah.
No idea who she is.
Okay.
That's the dream.
Yeah, that's it.
And it ends.
Wow.
Wow.
That is so weird.
Yeah.
And you see that dream, the same dream every day.
Yeah, I used to.
Yeah, well, me too.
I used to.
Not recently.
I don't see that dream.
Yeah.
Yeah, I guess something is behind that dream, no?
Yeah, probably.
Yeah, probably is.
Very, you know, deep.
Yeah, something psychologically.
Something more, you know, deep in the memories or something.
Yeah.
Yeah, probably is because, you know, like I said, it's from Ibaraki, right?
Ibaraki.
I used to live there just a little bit.
Right.
So.
You know the place?
I don't know the place.
I don't recognize it.
But maybe, I may do.
But you know, it's Ibaraki.
How would you know that?
Because I had this weird memory when I first saw that dream.
Yeah.
I have this slight, weird, blurry memory that me thinking that it was Ibaraki.
So, and that has carried on.
I see.
So, yeah.
I'm believing that it's Ibaraki.
Yeah.
There must be something.
Yeah.
There must be something.
Right, right.
Did you have an earthquake when you were in Ibaraki?
No, no.
Right, it was also, you know, it kind of feels like it's symbolizing separation as well.
Like, you know, the crack comes between me and the building that the woman is standing on.
Yeah.
Forever disconnected kind of symbolism.
Something that I kind of feel.
Yeah.
I don't know what it is.
No idea.
It's interesting.
It is interesting.
It is interesting.
夢の記憶
So, the dream that I saw this time, you know, dreams are hard to remember.
Yeah.
But scrapping all the pieces I can remember, I was sort of riding.
Okay, sort of riding.
Yeah, I think I was riding.
Okay.
You know that sports, winter sports where, like, you ride on a little cocoon really fast?
Yes.
It's like a, it's like a Siberidai.
Boat sleigh.
Right.
Yeah.
It's kind of like that.
Okay.
Kind of like a boat sleigh.
Okay.
Self boat sleigh.
Okay.
I was really fast.
I was probably on something.
Okay.
And...
So, you're in the ice tube or something?
No, no, no.
It was, it was plastic.
Oh, okay.
It was not winter.
It was not ice.
It was plastic rail.
And you're inside of that, right?
Yeah.
It's like a, it's like a, it's like a...
Swimming, like a pool.
It was not a pool.
Okay.
It's like a, you know, you know, Hot Wheels?
Sorry?
Hot Wheels.
Tomica.
You know Tomica?
Yeah.
Tomica rails.
You know, the rails that kids buy to sort of like have the cars ride on the rails?
Like that?
Yeah, those rails.
Yes, yes.
Plastic rails.
It's like that.
Okay.
I was riding on it.
Okay, okay.
Sounds fun so far.
But every, but I was challenging something.
Okay.
I was like, I have to do this.
And every time I fail...
Oh, okay.
I wake up.
Wow.
It's like, oh, I splashed out.
That's my raw emotion.
Okay.
But like five seconds after, I'm like, what the hell am I doing?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
There's no fucking contest I have to win.
Right, right, right.
What the fuck's happening?
Fuck, I was just dreaming.
I'll just go back to sleep.
So yeah, right.
And then an hour later, I'm like, I wake up again.
I failed again.
Shit.
Did you know what you were doing?
Like what are the challenges?
See, I don't remember.
The only thing I do remember is I was, you know, railing across the plastic rail, you know.
And you failed.
I failed.
And you wake up?
Yeah.
That happens every hour.
Okay.
So you can't get a good night's sleep.
Yeah, can you imagine that?
Yeah.
That's a terrible night.
It's terrible.
Wow.
Right.
And I guess that has like something behind that dream.
I know.
Like something.
Probably has.
Probably fighting something.
So looking for an answer or something, you know.
And what sounds scary of that dream is you fail every time and you wake up.
風邪と夢の関係
That's scary.
Yeah, I know.
If there's any like meaning behind it.
True.
Yeah.
Right.
But you don't, I don't know, like fall off from the tube or, you know.
No, no.
I don't.
Yeah, nothing scary.
Like nothing injury happens.
Okay, okay.
Yeah.
That's good.
Yeah.
That's good.
Right.
So.
All right.
That's my dream.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right.
Thanks for listening, guys.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
Bye-bye.
