Sixminutes English
I'm not sure where exactly from, but yeah.
Go with a similar accent with the BBC.
Look for interviews who speak the same accent as whatever BBC is speaking.
Right, right, right.
That gets it easier, I think.
Yeah, true, true, true.
Yeah.
Or if you love Ed Sheeran and want to catch him, then try repeat Ed Sheeran's English.
Right.
So that you can kind of get it.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Right, right, right.
Right.
BBC.
Yeah.
BBC is British English, right?
BBC, yeah.
British Broadcast Company.
Are they?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
I think it's British-ish, right?
Not familiar.
Not familiar?
Yeah.
I don't think it's like American English.
Yeah.
To my knowledge.
No.
Then it should be like close to Ed Sheeran's English then.
But I think Ed Sheeran.
I think I listened to Ed Sheeran talk, and I remember I was like, wow.
Oh, really?
The accent.
But like, I don't, maybe I'm not, maybe I'm not right here.
I mean, my memory could be wrong.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But, yeah.
True.
I know how he speaks like very strong and like kind of obviously broken, very LA.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Not like broadcasting.
In a way, it's very different.
That's right.
That's right.
True.
Yeah.
But, yeah.
If you want to, if you have somebody who you want to catch them, then you should repeat
them.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
How about like Taylor Swift?
How about that?
テイラー・スウィフトの人気の高まり
Oh, yeah.
Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift.
You know Taylor Swift is like becoming a legendary.
Artist?
Yeah.
I mean, she's already a legend, but like she's becoming even more of a legend right now.
Oh, really?
Like she's like really, really popular right now.
I mean, wow.
I mean, I know her and I know she's a very big pop star, but.
Uh-huh.
But like a legend.
Oh, really?
She's a legend now.
Like.
Wow.
She's doing all these concerts and selling out and like she's, all her songs are good
and like.
Uh-huh.
Recently, like for example, like Cruel Summer.
You know the song Cruel Summer?
Did I talk about that?
Mm-hmm.
Cruel Summer is a song that's been, that's released several years ago, but like it's
popping.
Now?
Right now.
Yeah.
Wow.
It's like, this is really good.
And all the other songs that are like, even in the, like the global 100 charts, there's
like Taylor Swift songs.
That's not even new.
Mm-hmm.
And it's like.
Wow.
Wow.
That's, you know, she's making really good songs.
That's true.
Yeah.
She's doing a huge tour, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like I've listened to her interviews and like how she normally talks, like really crisp
and clear.
Uh-huh.
It's easy to understand.
Mainstream, very.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
American.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
True.
Yeah.
I thought it was pretty like good English to listen to.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Right.
Right.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Um.
異なるアクセントの情報を探す難しさ
Uh.
Well, if you want to listen to those, if you want to catch those British people, like
Ed Sheeran's, maybe you might, it's better to start with like someone who speaks a bit
slower.
Mm-hmm.
Like the queen.
Mm-hmm.
Or like.
Right.
Yeah.
She speaks very slowly and carefully.
And yeah.
But with the accent.
Yes.
Yes.
So it'd be easier way to access.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, it's sometimes hard to look for contents with a specific accent.
Mm-hmm.
Because people who speak that accent don't really put the keyword of their accent on their
podcast show or video.
Right.
Right.
Like, like there are many times that I want to listen to a, a Southern accent, but like
外国語コンテンツを探すのは難しい
people who actually speak.
Yeah.
Legit Southern accent.
Mm-hmm.
They don't put the keyword Southern accent in their video.
So like it's hard sometimes.
It's hard.
To organically look for those contents.
Right.
Right.
Right.
Yeah.
It's true.
You have to find someone who speaks in that way.
Right.
For example, like I want to listen to Korean talk shows, but like hardly any of the shows
will title themselves as Korean talk shows.
They just, it's, it's, it's a more locally targeted keyword.
So like it's, I would have to know Korean to actually search the shows.
Right.
Right.
Because it's too natural for them to speak in Korean and do Korean speak.
Right.
Right.
Right.
So.
True.
The aim of the video is something else.
So like it's, it's, it's kind of hard to look for that sometimes.
Oh, it's true.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Maybe we should put English speaking show.
Uh, yeah.
Yeah.
We are putting, uh,
Are we?
Eigo.
Ah, that's right.
Eigo de.
Chichinagashi or something like that.
That's great.
That's great.
Like a hidden keyword.
Right, right, right.
Yeah, so.
Oh, that's true.
Especially you should put it in, in Japanese so that.
Yeah.
Oh, that's right.
That's right.
Right.
So.
Right.
Yeah.
Oh, you've done that.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Right, right, right.
Yeah.
Great.
All right.
Yep.
Thanks for sending guys.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
