Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Hello.
Hello.
Hey guys.
So it's a new year, like, began.
Yeah.
So I made my plans for...
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
January the 2nd is when you made your New Year's resolution.
Right, right, right.
Okay.
And one of them, like many things to do, one of them is like improve my English.
Okay, that's great.
Yes.
Yeah.
And, you know, having conversation with you, obviously that's the biggest effect to my English improvement.
And also I have to, I love to keep this on for the YouTube.
Oh, yeah.
But at the same time, I want to do something more, like some extra thing.
Oh, okay.
And I remember we did like a kind of teaching session.
Oh, yeah.
That was very nice to me.
So I want to do that too.
Okay.
And also I want to improve my words, like vocabularies.
Okay.
So I feel like my words are very limited.
So I want to learn some more and more is what I'm feeling now.
Okay.
Thinking now.
All right.
So, and I have a question.
Okay.
So what do you think is lacking in my English?
Like, you know, pronunciations, words, flows, and, you know, many things.
But what do you think is the most, you know, that I have to like work on, like energy on?
I guess the first thing to work on is there are several commonly used phrases that you sometimes don't use correctly.
I see, I see, I see.
I would start with adjusting those phrases so that it is used correctly and start, kind of start off with the kind of, kind of building your fundamentals first.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then get that, get that core settled first.
That's the first step.
Okay.
And then the next step will be to sort of leap forward, kind of grab onto something new, which is, which could be something like, I think when you try to describe something, you, I see you kind of not being able to get the words out there to really describe.
Like the precisely what you want to describe.
Yeah.
So like try to work on that.
Like to do that, there's, I guess, vocabularies is, vocabularies are a good supplement to kind of get that going.
03:11
Yeah.
And like the way things are said.
Yeah.
Like, for example, something like, it's not as much as that, but, you may think of something like that, but, like those.
Like phrases?
Yeah, those phrases that are really useful in conversations.
True.
Yeah, these set phrases that are commonly used, you know, that I don't hear from you as much.
Yeah.
So that might be helpful.
True.
Many times that I found new phrases from you, like, oh, that's a good way of saying, oh, that's a, that should be a useful one.
Right.
Yeah.
Right.
Right.
Right.
Yeah.
That would be, I guess, something to work on.
Yeah.
Right.
Okay.
Right.
For the conversation, like that thing that we did for two episodes that kind of, like I would aggressively sort of step into your English.
Yeah.
Do you want to set, like, do you want to do that more often?
Yeah.
See if we can get it out?
I would love to do that.
I think that's great content too.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
For the show, you know, as well.
Oh, yeah, I hope so.
Do you think it's better if we just, if we sort of like set like a, like a, this episode we're going to do like an aggressive add-on or do, or should we like kind of constantly just sort of have that in the back of my mind and your mind of like kind of make sure that when things are said wrong, when there's little bits and pieces of English advice,
Is that I would sort of give it to you more frequently.
So not thinking about anything for like any content or marketing.
Yeah, for me, I'd love to do this for whole time.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because I, you know, the phrase is, you never know when that comes out from me.
Yeah.
So, right.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's do that.
Let's, for this year, let's see if we can, if we can, I'll try to, you know, these Englishes that mistakes that you do.
Yeah.
I'll see if we can do that.
Thank you.
Please, please, please.
Yeah.
Right.
So don't be, don't be mad at Kevin to like stop, stop me or like in front of me.
06:03
It's, it's, it's for the greater good.
It's for the greater good.
Yes.
Yeah.
It's for the Yamachan good.
And for you too, maybe.
For you too.
Hopefully.
Hopefully.
Yes.
Yes.
All right.
It's a good challenge.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Good challenge.
All right.
Yeah.
Right.
That's nice.
Right.
Every once in a while, I do feel like we should do like for this episode, we're going to do an aggressive, aggressive fix.
Yeah.
Cause like that, that really gets me like, it really gets my engine back on.
So that's better for me.
Yeah.
So sneak in a little, yes.
Yes.
Aggressive episode every once in a while.
Yeah.
Well like one episode a day.
One episode a day.
Sure.
We can do that.
Yeah.
That's good.
All right.
Let's do that.
Yeah.
All right.
We'll be for the next episode.
Do an aggressive talk.
Yes, please.
Yes.
Great.
All righty.
Thank you.
Thanks for sending guys.
Thank you.
Bye.
Bye.
