So this is from Ippe Nifei Dei Bill-san. That's a very interesting name. Yeah, it's from
you know, Okinawa name. Okay, okay. Okinawan name? I guess?
That's an Iwan name. Yeah. Okay.
Oh. His name is Kazuki-san. Sorry. Uh oh.
Oh.
Topic Toriagete Kudasatte Ippe Nifei Dei Bill.
Kako Arigatou Gozaimashita.
Oh. Sorry about that.
That was a, I guess that was like a thank you phrase? Yeah.
Ippe Nifei Dei Bill is the thank you. Oh. In Okinawa language? Okay.
Ippe Nifei Dei Bill. Really? But that's what... That's what he said? Yeah. Okay, got it. Okay.
Sorry, his name is Kazuki-san. Kazuki-san, alright.
So, um...
Konkai wa hougen ni tsuite dewa naku shigoto ni tsuite adobaisu o itadakitaku messeji itashimashita.
Boku wa genzai daigaku yonensei de haru kara shakaijin ni narimasu.
Yeah. Okay.
Haru kara shakaijin ni narimasu.
Naiten o itadaiteru kaisha ga gai shi no ryokou gai shi de boku ga haizoku sareru basho niwa nipponjin ga hitori shika inai hodo gai kokujin ga ooi shokuba no you desu.
Wow.

Mada mada samui hi ga tsudzukimasu ga, o karada ni wa ki o tsukete, kore kara mo saikou na kontentsu o todoketsuzukete kudasai.
Wow. Thank you. Thank you.
Yeah. So becoming a shakaijin.
Yeah. Just gonna working at gai shi no ryokou gai shi.
So we both have our like experience in those.
Okay. So if you can combine those, that would be perfect.
For me, what I think, if it's a typical gai shi kei, unlike the Japanese companies, like gai shi kei has, it's more, they fire you a lot more easily than the Japanese companies, right?
03:04
The Japanese companies, once you get hired, it's like a, you get to stay there for as long as, you know.
Basically forever, right?
Until teinen, until retirement.
But you know, if gai shi kei, like if your salary gets too high, they'll start putting you on the list of, you know, letting you go to make sure that, you know, labor costs is low and that they have a healthy, the company has like a healthy financial.
So the first few years, yeah, you're not, you probably won't be fired at all.
You won't have to worry about that.
But so once you get into like your mid ages of career, maybe you have to really think about, you know, other options.
Maybe you always have to keep that in mind.
How old is that?
At my company, I think the, I've seen people get fired at around 30.
Okay.
Yeah.
Kind of too early.
Yeah, that's early, right?
Yeah.
Right.
Another thing is, since it's like a one man for himself kind of culture, people aren't going to give you a job.
Like they're not going to, this is, that's what happened to me.
They were all, like if they let go of their, like if, okay, so my, if my senpai were to give me a job, then that senpai won't have any work to do, which means, okay, so this worker, the senpai worker is providing this much for the company is getting paid for this.
Oh, we're not getting an ROI.
Let's fire him.
Right?
So they want to keep their jobs.
They want to keep their like assignments, so they don't give it to your, you know, um, kohais.
So I didn't really get any job.
Well, that's why I reserved a conference for him and slept.
But that's, don't do that.
But you're going to have to really work for yourself.
You have to study on your own to, to, to contribute to the company.
So that's where you have to be a little bit aggressive.
Bring in new clients, maybe bring in new value to the company and prove to them that you're worthy of staying would be something that you need to do.
That's something different from a Japanese company, if you like.
True.
Yeah. Whereas Japanese company, you're very, you're taking care of very well.
Yeah. There's that structure of like, okay, a new guy comes in, this is what he does.
And you do this, he does that.
Sure.
Taking care of a lot.
Yeah, that's true.
But from the gai shi side perspective, I think that's where you have to be careful.
Right there.
So you got to create something new by yourself.
You got to provide value to the company.
But that's really difficult.
You just start shakaijin life and suddenly you need to, you know.
06:06
Yeah. I mean, right.
They're probably not going to fire you for it because you're still a junior.
But, but you know.
Yeah.
Once you're not in the stage of like a rookie, you're probably going to have to really provide that value.
So you have to change the mindset from, you know, something be given.
Yeah.
To giving.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's nice.
Yeah.
I like those words.
I like that.
Change your mindset from being given to giving.
Yeah, that's nice.
I like that.
All right.
How about you?
From the ryokou daitei ten perspective.
It's not, I guess it's not only about ryokou, you know, whatever.
Maker or TV or whatever.
But, you know, it's always happened that after you entering in that world.
Then you will lose the perspective from the outside.
Okay.
You know, like interesting.
Yeah.
You know, when you, you know, do you understand that?
You see that?
Like the sense?
Like, like, if you become a YouTuber, you start forgetting what it would look like.
Yeah.
Like a normal thumbnail would look like.
True.
Title, how it would feel to a normal like audience.
That's what I, perfectly, that's what I want to say.
So, especially like, I guess he loves ryokou.
So that's the reason why he works about that.
So if you start looking at those, you know, industry, then things will slowly and gradually,
you know, changed.
Okay.
So, in a bad way, you know, it's not always bad way, but it's just changed.
Okay.
It's not good or bad.
It's just changed.
You will get, you know, the view from the inside.
Got it.
Got it.
Got it.
So that's a good way.
But at the same time, you shouldn't like forget the, you know, view from the usual consumer
or usual travelers.
That's true.
Yeah.
So that's one really important thing, I guess.
So you shouldn't forget what you feel right now.
Like, especially you now searching on the travels on the internet, what is convenient,
what is cheap, but you know, what do you feel right now.
So please do not forget what you think about travel right now.
That's, you know, important.
09:01
I see.
Yeah.
So maybe you still have time.
So it's difficult to travel around, but see the travel reservation site and use those
and feel something.
Important thing is just not forget how you feel.
So like, for example, before you worked in an industry, you could look at some tour and
be like, oh, this is fun.
This is fun.
This is exciting.
But once you start working in it, you start to feel like, oh, maybe this plan has this
place as lunch because they're incentivized to do so.
And it's not purely because the conductor thinks it's a good experience for the customers.
It has a, it's, you start seeing more colors to it.
Like it's like how maybe there's a deal behind it that makes them those kinds of things.
That's right.
You know, you got to, you will get the view from the industry or like business.
Yeah.
So it's a good thing, of course.
And it's necessary, of course.
But it's always for the customers.
Right.
So you shouldn't forget about this point.
And it's kind of really difficult when you are deep inside the industry, then you will,
you know, forget.
You forget how to take those glasses off.
Yeah.
So, two lessons from us.
Okay.
One was, don't be given.
Give.
Yeah.
I don't think that was the exact phrase.
Giving.
Giving.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Change your mindset from being given to giving.
Yeah, that's right.
That's one.
That's one.
Another one.
Yeah.
Is, don't.
What was that?
Never forget you have, never forget that you have colored glasses on you.
Yeah, that's nice.
That's nice.
Okay.
So make sure you see the, you know, the true, the true.
Clear vision.
Yeah, the true vision.
Yeah.
Your true eyes.
There you go.
All right.
All right.
Thanks for listening, guys.
Thank you.
