But officially though, like if you go to TV, they'll say X.

こういう時のCongratulationsは日本語のおめでとうではないですよねという疑問でした。
ちなみに彼女はダンスもやっていて、パフォーマンスの後にもCongratulationsと言われるそうです。
日本語だと何になるのかなと自分なりに考えてみると、犬を飼い始めたことに対しては良かったねみたいな感じかなと思いました。
パフォーマンス後の方は先生に言われたならよくやったねだろうし、観客なら素晴らしいなのかなと思いましたが、
そもそもCongratulationsにそんな意味はあるのでしょうか?
彼女は日本語にできないCongratulationsがまあまああると締めくくっていましたが、
ケビンさんはCongratulationsにはおめでとう以外に日本語で言うとこれだろうと思う言葉はありますか?
