Okay! So what I was about to tell you was when I went to New York with my family
I was telling you that I didn't know
nothing right? Yeah! I was just following my parents, just eating candy with my
Nintendo DS, playing Animal Crossing and stuff like that. And I was at the subway. Okay!
In New York. New York subway, right! And I... this was like one of the most
frightening moments of my life I feel like. Okay! There was a... I don't know if I've
ever told you this, maybe I have. So the subway, there were two lanes. Mm-hmm.
I've never heard about those stories in New York. Okay! Yeah! So there's two lanes
right? Yeah! And so I'm sitting down so I can see the other train through the
window. Okay! Like I'm sitting down on my train. Yeah! And there's a next train
right there. Okay! Next stop just pulling over. Both trains are moving.
Yeah! My train stopped! Okay! Okay! My train just stopped and the door opened, right?
And but the... the train in front of me was slowly moving. Okay! So it felt like I was
still moving. Ah! Okay! Okay! And family four, me, sister, mom, dad and the other three
knew that the train stopped and they were like okay we got to get off on this stop.
Yeah! And they got off. Yeah! And I was playing my DS. Okay! Right! And I thought
it was still moving. Yeah! So I didn't bother moving. Wow! The three didn't
realize, right, that I was still sitting down. Yeah! And but the moment that you
know they got off the train, like they got really like they got they passed
the doors. Yeah! Oh! Where's my... Oh shit! Dad! Mom! Sister! Where you going? And I was... I ran.

Really? I ran. I ran my little ass, right, to the door. Yeah! And before it closed, I
I just... I... I flung myself to the closing door. But I didn't make it. Oh really? I
didn't make it. But I had my hand. Yeah! I was able to put my hand, hands in between
the doors right before it's about to close. Yeah! Right! Hands in there, right?
I'm using all my muscle. Yeah! To like... to open that... to chug open that door back,
right? And the New Yorkers around me saw me. Oh! Little Asian kid! Trying to like fight for his life!
And then they came here and they helped me. They were so supportive. They were
really nice. They were kind. They were like... they helped me. They helped me try to get the door
back open. And they were like... they came close to me like, "It's okay. I got this. I got you. I got you, boy."
Like they were... they were so helpful. And then by the time the whole family noticed,
made me like, "Oh my god! My little Asian kid!" Not my little Asian kid. My son is in trouble! See, the dad came. He tried to open the door too.
And then finally the door, you know, opened. And then I was with my family. Okay. And thank God!
Right? Yeah, so that's what happened. Wow! Yeah, it was frightening but also the New Yorkers around me
were so... Yeah, you felt that. Supportive, you know? Like... like I think three men. Wow! Just helped me get the door back open.
They're so kind. They are so kind. But you know, I feel like a lot of the people in the United States, they have such a huge
Seigi-kan. That's what me and my dad always said. Like they have so much Seigi-kan to the point
that it's annoying. Like it's so annoying. Like, it's okay! I always get that a lot, right? Like they do too much, I feel like.
I know they're being nice, you know? And this is kind of mean to say. But like to the point where it's like, it's okay!
Yeah, it's a little... It's okay! Yeah! But yeah, that's what happened. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah.
Wow! That's an adventure story. Yeah. From little Asian kid. Little Asian kid in New York. Must have been tough.
Kevin in New York. Yeah. Little Kevin in New York. I also had... It's a... This was also when I was visiting New York.
Okay. Be careful when you're in New York. Yeah, you have to. So, it was like this... It was in the middle of the road.
And the view was good. Okay. Right? You can see Manhattan. So, the Manhattan was all the way over there.

And then the ocean or sea or whatever you call that shit. And then like the road. Like highway shit.
Oh, nice. And then we stopped by the highway. We got off and my family, our family was like, "Oh, nice view!"
Like taking pictures, right? I... The dumbass boy that I am, I walked across the other side of the street, right?
I don't know why. I forgot. It probably has some sort of a reason. I don't know. Maybe a vending machine. I don't know.
But I was at the other side of the road. Yeah. And there wasn't any like crosswalk or anything.
So, like I walked past that by myself, you know, with all the cars. Just watching all the cars just, you know, go by.
And I just time... It was all timing, right? So, it was a little dangerous. My family saw that I was all the way over there.
And they were like, "What are you doing? Come back! But like be careful!" Yeah, of course.
So, like after I've been told to be like, "Hey, Kevin, be careful!" I was like all nervous, right? Yeah.
Shit. I gotta be careful. Okay. But I rush, right? I rush with the timing, right? Yeah.
And I saw that there were no cars just driving. But only one car. I saw this one car. So, I was like, "Okay.
I do Super Mario. I know how this works." Yeah. Right? They're coming and I walk at the same time, right?
And I will time myself so that, you know, I will fall right behind the car. You know what I'm saying? Okay.
The car comes, right? The cars are just trying to cross in front of me. I start walking. Yeah.
At the timing that, you know, when we don't intersect, like we don't hit each other. Of course.
But just barely, like I land behind that car. Perfectly. Right? So, that's the best timing, right?
I mean, yeah. So, it doesn't, you know, right? You know what I'm talking about, right? Yeah.
So, I did that. I started walking and the car thought that I was asking for help. Yeah. Right?
Like, so the car kind of stopped. Yeah. Like, the car was like, "Oh my god. This Asian kid.
This little Asian kid is walking alone. I think he needs help." Yeah. And it was a family.
There was a car in a car. There was like four families or something like that. Family of four.
And they stopped and like, "Are you okay? What do you need? What do you need, son? Are you good?"
And I was like, I was so shocked. I was like, "No, no. I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay."
And the family was like, "Are you really okay?" And I pointed at my family and they're like,
"Oh, it's just my son." And they're like, "Oh, okay." And the car just crossed and I was
with my family. Back with my family again. So, that was a little Asian kid. Yeah.

Adventuring in New York. Part two. Yeah. Right there. It's open in every Toho cinemas
on the first December. The first December. 15 minute movie.
Yep. So, I guess that was the first time I told you. Yeah. I've never heard of those experiences
in New York City. So, be careful when you're in New York. Don't. Just be careful. Just
make sure you're safe. Okay? Was it your first time seeing metrals or like those lines at the
same time? No. Two lanes at the same time was not the first time. Okay. No. But the subway,
the New York itself was the first time. Okay. Yeah. So, you just thought you yourself were
moving. Moving. Yeah. That's exactly what I thought. Wow. All right. It's funny. Thanks
