Okay, we are gonna make history in the Kevin's English Room podcast.
Okay, let's go!
Okay, got it, got it, got it. Let me hear this one more time. Okay.
Okay. I think that's a French dictionary. Oh, that's a French dictionary. I was trying to look up some words here. That's a French dictionary again? Yep, this is a French dictionary. Let's go with that French dictionary.
Alright. Alright.
[Music]
[Laughter]
Ohhhh! What did you think? What did you think about that?
Uh, like, that was a song, Italian song. Like Italian console, I think. Oh, okay, okay, okay.
I thought the melody was pretty good. Okay. You know, that melody, right? Did you think so? Like it matched the piano, the melody, it had like some sort of like that.
The middle part was good. Like, da da da da! Kind of like that, right? That part, right? Yeah, maybe, yeah.
[Laughter]
Da da da da, da da da da, what kind of thing. It was good. Okay, okay, okay.
But it was, so the reason, so if you, those of you who didn't catch what happened, I wanted to, I had a trouble, I had trouble thinking, thinking up, like coming up with words that goes with the flow.
So I thought maybe if I look up some books, right? I'll just read off, I'll just rely the lyrics off of these books. Yeah.
It was a French dictionary. Okay. Turned out to be a French dictionary. And Yama-chan was like, "Why don't you do it in French?"
I was like, "Yeah, let's go." That's why I sang in French. Oh, okay, that was French, huh? If it even was French. Okay. Was it French? Like, it sounded Italian? It sounded to me. Okay. Alright. Got it.
But the, I'm, I'm, yeah, the melody was great. Yeah, I'm showing some real potentials here. Yeah. You know. Great.

So. Alright. Here, I've got some messages about our dreams. Okay.
I mean, not like something that I, that we want to do, but the dream we see when we're asleep. Ah, when we're asleep. Yes. Okay.
So. This one first, from Ai-san. Thank you, Ai-san.
I dream in both languages. Like, there's days I dream in English, there's days I do Japanese. Wow. Yeah, I have both. Wow. Actually.
But lately I've been getting more of the Japanese-y ones. But I do sometimes speak in English. Oh, okay.
Alright. Like, for me, Japanese obviously. But I remember when I went, was in France. Like, three months after I arrived, then my, one day my dream was in, in French.
Oh. And I was so happy. You were happy? Yeah. Yeah. So is it true that when you dream in a language, you're good at it?
Like, in a dream, I spoke French. Means, you know, that language is naturally inside you. Uh-huh. So.
Like, sometimes, I don't know if this happens to you, but like, sometimes I get new ideas from dreams. What do you mean?
Like, let's say I'm thinking about a business idea or something, right? And then I sleep, I dream, I wake up and like, the business idea that I had in my head, in my dream, that's brilliant! Yeah.
Why didn't I think about it when I was awake? That happens too. And like, and what's more interesting is like, when I'm asleep, I use words, English and Japanese both, either way, vocabularies that I do not understand.
Wow. Yeah. Like, so I wake up and I remember me saying a certain sentence with a phrase, words that I do not understand after I'm awake. Uh-huh.
And I researched that, right, on Google and I know what it is now, right? Because I Googled it. And I was like, and it makes sense. Wow. I was using it correctly in my dreams. Isn't that interesting?
Wow. Like, how was my dream state? How did my dream know more than me being alive? Yeah.
Interesting, right? Yeah, interesting. Yeah. Wow. I know. It's unbelievable. Yeah. I heard that dreams are something that, you know, like, clean up your brain, like all the things you heard, you looked, you experienced, you felt when you awake.
06:18
But when you're asleep, it has to be clean up and organized. So maybe something that was something you didn't even recognize but heard that phrase or word maybe.
Wait, elaborate on the clean up part. What do you mean by that?
Like, you know, brain cannot like remember every everything you like, like in this room, you see my watch. Yeah. But don't recognize what it is like the brand that cheap. Right. Right.
But but you certainly have seen that. Right. Right. But yeah, remember, yes, means the brain choose all things that that was not important to you. Okay. So that is happening when you asleep.
The brain, like choosing what is important, what is not important. And, you know, organize all that that the keyoku all that, like things like you've heard when you awake when you've seen like even everything like even you didn't recognize to try to hide it.
So subconscious maybe. Yeah. Right. You're you're not recognizing that. Yeah. But it's still in your brain. Yeah. And that is interesting when you're asleep brain automatically, you know, organize all this information and sometimes it comes up to you like the word that is didn't even understand that is interesting.
Yeah, that is so good idea. Right. Yeah, it's a good idea. That's great. Is that like interesting? Do you do you get the same dream? Occasionally? I do. You do. I do. Like, not recently, but when I was an elementary school student, I saw a lot of dream, which was I was running from Indian guy, like, three or four Indian guy.
I was running from them running through the night, like restaurant.
That was the dream. Yeah, I always dreams are always weird situations are right. You've seen that several times to like, maybe 10 times. That's a lot. Yeah, I still remember that.
Is it the same situation every time? Or is it like the continuation of the one you last saw? Almost the same. The same place.
09:03
Places were a little bit different. The road or in the restaurant or in a warehouse. I was a little bit different but the same Indian guys chasing me. Do you know them? No, no, no, no idea who they are. Okay. Interesting. Maybe that's telling me something.
Maybe. What's the what's the what do you what which dream do you remember the most?
That dream. And also when I get kaze, when I get cold, I always see it's not dream but always see a same image, which is like, like, rounded shaped, like little or big, big sun. Kind of like the sun? Yeah, but it looks like a cookie dough.
Like rounded, like a cube. Okay. That's rounded. And it goes bigger and smaller. Bigger and smaller. So it's in the air. It's floating in the air.
I think it's in the air. Like, I don't know. But like, it's not scared. Scary, huh? Well, what? No, but at the time I see that I feel so like that is so scary to me.
And I don't know why. But it's always that dream when I when you get sick. Yeah. Interesting. Well, um, I also do get like a deja vu of in my dreams like that's a French word. Oh, deja vu. Yeah, that's a French word. Yeah.
How like you read the one? Yeah. Oh, really? Oh, who deja vu? Yeah. Who is the you? Yeah. Deja vu. Yes, yes, yes. The French word.
Whenever I, it's not, it doesn't happen. Not like in a certain occasion or anything like when I get sick or anything like that. It happens just like on a random, random day.
But like the the one I get, I've seen this like four times so far, I think. Like it's, I'm standing here like outside.
In front of the elementary school I attended in Japan. Wow. Elementary school. Shogakus, shogakko. Right. I attended a little bit of Japanese shogakko.
I was standing in front of the school. Okay. And earthquake happens. Wow. And then a huge crack. In Kotei? In Kotei.
Not in Kotei. There isn't, there's no Kotei. There's just school, road, then me. Okay. Right. And I'm a little bit far from the school.
12:03
So I'm looking at the school from afar. Okay. And there's a girl standing in front of the school. Right.
Also standing behind the road that's in between us and the school. Right. And so there's me from afar looking at the school over the road.
And there's another girl standing in front of the road much more closer to the school than I am.
And earthquake suddenly happens and there's a huge crack that runs across the road that's in front of me. And it's shaking.
The vision that I'm seeing is extremely shaking. And the cracks happen like all across the road.
And I'm yelling something. I don't know what it is but I'm yelling something to the girl. Okay. And then it ends.
This is the dream I get every, occasionally. Wow, it's interesting. Yeah, it's interesting. It's a bit scary.
Who is that? I don't know. You don't know? I have no idea who that is. Wow. That's interesting too. Yeah. And a little bit scary. Right?
I don't know who that is. Oh. Wow. Maybe that telling you something. Maybe. How do you talk about Yume, Yume Uranari?
No. What is that? Like, you know, that dream is coming from our subconsciousness. Yes. So that means something.
Like even if. Shit. Like. That's scary. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That is so scary. So like it might happen is what it's saying.
No, no, no. Like means something. Like maybe you have someone who you loved once but now you and that girl are separate maybe.
You know, that's kind of memories maybe. So all of the elements that comes in your dreams comes from all of your experience.
Right, right. Is what it's saying. Right. So you edit all that experiences and everything in your brain.
So maybe the Indian guy who you're going away from could be someone who you met in the past. Right, right.
Or seen in a movie or TV show. Right. Just once and subconsciously remember. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Interesting.
That represents something. Like represents something like what? Like I'm scared of Indians. Yeah, maybe, maybe.
I'm afraid of earthquakes. Maybe like that. Maybe like that. I'm scared of like different like someone who has different way of thinking maybe.
I'm afraid the person who has different culture maybe. I see, I see. I don't know. That is interesting.
15:01
Well, actually I didn't introduce. I found your beans. I'm sorry. Wow. I found your please. I found your please.
Beans I dropped on the floor. The Hyakumy beans. What was that flavor?
That... Sausage. I'm pretty sure that was sausage. Well, I didn't introduce but Gofu Hana-chan-san has sent me like a same request.
Oh, dream. Okay, okay.
I always listen to your requests. I'm always getting energy from you. Thank you. I'm always supporting you. I want to hear about your weird dreams.
So that was that. Right, right. Thank you for the request by the way.
This topic was also really interesting. That was very interesting.
Alright. Thanks for listening again guys. Thank you. Bye bye.
