It's just another Japanese slang, internet slang.
There is a culture of calling fat people pizza in
in Japan, in internet.
Well, or pizza in Japanese accent.
Yeah, pizza is pizza in Japanese, so it's easy to remember. But anyway,
yeah, we call fat people
pizza.
And why are we calling fat people pizzas?
They don't look like pizzas.
Surely, they eat pizzas.
So, that's that.
Internet Slang for Calling Fat People
There was, or there is still probably an internet slang to
call fat people
to, what's the word?
To,
well, this disrespectful way of
calling fat people
ピザでも食ってろデブ!
And that literally means, go and eat some pizza fatty!
This became quickly popular
among Japanese internet population,
especially those who are using Ni-chan or 2channel
website. So, after this became popular, instead of saying the whole sentence
ピザでも食ってろデブ!
people just started using ピザ
to refer to fat people.
I'm not too familiar with English internet memes and internet slangs, but
if, if pizzas are not really used for fat people, then
if you want to secretly refer to fat people, maybe you can just call them pizzas, but I don't know.
That's probably not really a good thing to do, so maybe you shouldn't.
