面接の疑念
ケビンさん、ヤマさん、こんにちは。いつも楽しくポッドキャストを拝聴しています。最近転職を考えていて、先日ある企業の面接を受けました。その中で少し違和感を覚える質問がいくつかあり、今回はそのことについてご意見を伺えたらと思い投稿しました。
まず一つ目は、「休日出勤や長時間労働はできますか?」という質問です。

本音では絶対に嫌だと思ったのですが、面接の場で絶対に無理ですとはっきり言い切るのもどうかと思い、勤務できますと答えてしまいました。
でも後になって考えると、労働基準法があるにも関わらず、面接の時点でこういったことを聞いてくる会社ってちょっと危ないのでは?と感じてしまいました。

二つ目の質問は、「最近の若い人は積極的に転職をする風潮がありますが、それについてどう思いますか?」というものでした。
私はやりたいことがあるとか環境を変える必要があるなら、転職するのは良いことだと思いますと答えました。
すると、周りの同世代の人もそんな感じですか?と聞かれたのですが、内心ではそんなの知らんかなと思いつつ、色々な考え方の人がいるので一概には言えないと思いますと返しました。
正直、特に二つ目の質問については何を聞きたかったのかよく分からず、この人はすぐ辞めないのかというのを探っていたのかもしれませんが、答え方としては他にもっと良い方があったのかなともやもやしています。
転職トレンドへの意見
同世代であるケビンさん、ヤマさんだったらこの二つの質問にどう答えますか?もし似たような経験があればぜひお話を聞いてみたいです。

Maybe I'm not a good interviewer as well, but that didn't feel like a very good candidate for me.

Yeah, I think if that company isn't the one I really, really want,
the moment the interviewer do that question to me, I feel like my shutter, my door is kind of half closed.
You don't even care if you win this or not?

Kind of vibe starts.
But I think it's clever if you just say 大丈夫です in that moment, and then you can decide later.
That's clever, that's what you should do in the job interview.

Because if I say like that, even if I'm honest, you won't pick me, right?
I mean, at least I felt like, oh, this candidate is not loyal.
I think that's not a good idea.

面接の悩み

I went through the whole shukatsu process, like all the other students around me, but I never gained a bit of confidence there.

I'm actually kind of okay with the group discussion, so we have our differences there.
Well, what is it about the group discussion that you kind of like don't get?
I don't know if I should say things, or like propose things for the discussion,
or should I just be quiet and say nothing and just let things go smoothly?

Every time I suffer and just... Ultimately, I just don't say anything.

I mean, it is kind of difficult, right, to balance out how much of your personal...

You know, I think it's a better idea to do this, but the whole team is going this way.

How much adjustment should I make? That is kind of difficult for us.
If the project itself is really something I really want to do, or I have certain preference on it,
then I would say things, and I feel I'm right to move forward.

But, you know, those group discussions, I don't care. I have nothing...
You have zero interest.
But still, I feel like this is something I want, or this is something we should go,
but the discussion goes that way, and if I say this, that makes the discussion even deeper.

Then it takes time. Makes less smoother.

Luckily, there's a lot of places where they don't do the group discussion, right?
