技術進化バンザイ!

こんにちは、英語で雑談!Kevin’s English Room Podcastです。
I intentionally made a silence and see if that new feature can detect the silence.
So if that automatically detects the silence, then automatically cut the silence.
Yes.
So that means it should be like, all right, let's start the silence and then suddenly we got to speak.
Yes.
The next phrase should become.
That's how it should be.
Okay.
Can't wait.
All right.
All right.
Any minute now.
Okay.
Any minute now.
We don't have to be careful about those silence anymore.
You can have time, you can take time.
Exactly.
Because it will be automatically cut.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Only on YouTube.
Oh, yeah.
YouTube would still have the silence.
Yeah, but no, it's okay.
If it works out.
Yeah.
You know what?
I can't find it.
Oh, you can't find it.
Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
It wasn't a video.
Uh-huh.
It was a.
Yes, I found it.
Oh, you found it.
Okay.
All right.
Let's go.
So I recorded the place where we decided to, you know, have fun with it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Oh, here we go.
So five seconds delay.
Unbelievable.
No.
Really?
Unbelievable.
That's unbelievable.
They cut out the five second silence.
Wow.
Unbelievable.
That was beautiful.
Let's listen to it again.
Okay.
So five second delay.
I mean, wow.
We waited five seconds before I said done, right?
Yes, yes, yes.
Wow.
Oh, that's great.
That's unbelievable.
Well, sorry.
I thought that new feature just failed.
Uh-huh.
And that, you know, that was what I thought.
Right.
And like, oh, but did it.
It did it, man.
It did it.
Oh, great.
I can't believe it.
And like the timing was quite natural.
Yeah.
Like it wasn't too short.
It wasn't too long.
You're right.
It was very starting now, done.
True.
It's very natural.
True.
Like I can imagine some machine.
Yeah.
Would do something like starting now, done.
Yeah.
03:00
Right?
Right.
Because it would cut out every second of the silence.
Yeah.
Right?
That's true.
That's true.
That's great.
That's clever.
Right.
It left some on purpose.
Yeah.
To make it sound natural.
Yeah.
That is so smart.
Wow.
That is so smart.
Wow.
So now officially.
Yes.
You don't have to care about those silences anymore.
Anymore.
Wow.
Super.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
Wow.
That's still not a problem.
Yeah.
I mean the listeners don't know what's going on here.
Yeah.
We were just chilling for like a minute here.
Doing nothing.
Yeah.
Right?
At a stretch.
Yeah.
And they didn't even notice.
Wow.
Didn't even notice.
Some stuff right?
That's great.
Technology.
That's great.
Fucking technology.
Amazing.
Unbelievable.
Very good.
But not on the videos.
Not on the videos.
Yeah.
The videos aren't going to do it.
Right.
Right.
But you know I think it's only a matter of time before they would get to the videos.
Yeah.
You know.
Like if you render it.
Yeah.
And tell the computer that hey this is an audio show.
Right.
That's just in video format.
Right.
Let's just cut the silence.
Yeah.
I think they can do it.
They can do it.
True.
True.
Right.
Wow.
Wow.
Exciting.
That's so natural.
Like way more natural than I thought.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's great.
Amazing.
How about your everything on your.
Oh yeah.
System.
So recently Anchor.
Okay.
Decided to change the whole fucking website.
Oh really?
Yeah.
So I had to rebuild the whole program.
Wow.
So is that your system your program is like I'm sorry I'm very I'm very out from those
you know programming and Python things.
So I have no idea at all.
But your problem is based on the design of the pages.
It's based on the I don't know if I'm describing it correctly but to my knowledge.
Yeah.
It's based on the HTML text.
I see.
Yeah.
Every button has a HTML code.
Right.
And I would tell the program to click on the button with the HTML that includes the text
this.
I see.
Then it would find it and then it would click it.
Oh yeah.
So it's not the designs but like the one layer inside.
Yes.
Yes.
On the HTML side.
I see.
Yeah.
Okay.
So once the Anchor changed all the text on the pages.
06:03
So like.
And the order and everything.
Yeah.
I had to rearrange and then also adjust the text so that I would actually find the actual
button.
Wow.
Everything.
It was a pain in the ass.
Yeah.
But.
You did it?
It was great.
It was great compared to.
Thank you.
Actually one by one uploading.
It's so much faster.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So.
It's all good.
It's all good.
Wow.
Yeah.
As a super engineer.
As a super engineer.
You know.
Not that difficult.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I feel like I could get paid for giving someone the program for automatically uploading all
the stuff.
Right.
Because now you can you're uploading the YouTube videos too.
Yeah.
I guess that helps a lot of people.
True.
True.
Yeah.
But I'm not doing it the authentic way.
Okay.
The authentic way is using what's called the API.
Uh-huh.
I did not have the knowledge to do that.
Oh.
I gave up on that.
Okay.
I was.
Yeah.
It was a little bit hard.
Oh.
But.
Even for you.
Yeah.
Even for me.
Oh.
Yeah.
As a.
As a Google.
Yeah.
Amazon.
Yeah.
What was the other one?
What do you want?
Meta?
Golf.
Oh.
Google.
Google.
Facebook.
Facebook.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Facebook engineer.
Yeah.
Okay.
As an experienced engineer for all these companies.
Wow.
It was even.
I couldn't do the job.
It was too difficult.
So.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you can't.
If you can't.
No one can.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry, guys.
But you invented APIs?
Yes, I did invent APIs.
You did invent APIs, but you can't control it anymore?
No.
Oh, is it?
It's gone too far.
Oh, it's gone too far?
Yeah.
Oh.
Yeah.
Wow.
It's gone too far.
It's like Iron Man.
Oh, yeah.
Create the new, you know, higher technology, and you can't control it anymore.
Yeah.
The technology has control.
Yeah.
It would seem.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Something.
That's what is happening now?
That is.
That is what's happening.
I have invented something too smart.
OK, OK.
Yes.
Wow.
For humanity to control.
Smarter than you?
Me.
Oh, smarter than me?
Yes.
OK, thank you.
Cool.
Yeah.
Thank you.
But I think that could really happen.
Yeah.
A strange conversation.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
You know how we've always said that, oh, someday robots are going to take us over,
We've always said that oh someday robots are gonna take us over and like we would we would take that with a grain of salt
Yeah. Oh, yeah, right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I mean
Robots, all right
Set that but like with a chat GPT and everything now looking at chat GPT and have you seen?
the arm the AI generated
photos people
09:03
Movies I haven't seen the movies but yeah, I can imagine how
Reality real it is. Yeah right now Hollywood is
Undergoing a strike, right? Oh, you know that right a strike really Frank. Yeah
the movie industry the actors and the producers and the
the script writers are on a protest on a strike because they're not getting
They're not getting they're not it's not a fair compensation, right? Okay, because of
Netflix and all the
High-speed services come in before the Netflix and everything. They would would get paid for
Secondary usage. I say like when on when you know, the DVDs sold or like rights rights and everything
But like Netflix only pays the rights
They don't disclose the view counts for the movie. So like I
Say they say it's not fair. Mm-hmm
Strike
Another reason they're they're going on a strike is you know how some of the I know
Extras extras that are like, you know walking
On the back of the scene right now
Now what a eyes can do is they can scan the people in the back. They can kind of replicate it Wow movies
so
Actors on the first one is only getting paid for that film
But not on the secondary film that AI has generated Wow, even the same that guy is on the screen
Yeah, I mean, I think AI kind of tweaks the face a little bit. Okay, so like it's not exactly him
Okay, but it's based off of him. Yeah. Yeah. Well does the right go to track first guy true currently?
It's not being paid Wow for so Wow. That's why they're going on the strike. That's the two main reasons and like
Unbelievable. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I fucking yeah
Powerful shit. All right, like what is there like IOT right? Yeah of things, but you know, like it's getting everything mixed line like
Could be like AC connected to AI and everything like everything everything and then you're fucking right. Yeah
Like it would automatically. Yeah
Sense yeah all my emotions. All right, right and could like that's fucking controlling aberration
Even if I feel hot or this is too hot
But if AI controls everything and try keeping colder and like right
Yeah, so if you flip that around if the AI wants to destroy me, yeah, they would find all my weaknesses
Yeah, and they would fucking attack all my right. That's fucking scary. That's scary
They certainly start firing
God, thank you, you know
Everything that yeah, like they would have like 500 holographic cockroaches, right?
When I wake up cockroaches will be all over my wall and I'm gonna fucking yeah gonna be dying. I'm gonna die
12:02
Yeah, yeah, if have projectile. Yes. Yeah. Yes. That's dangerous. Yeah. Yeah
All right, so great thanks listening guys, thank you
