Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Hello.
I was so used to saying the pluses. All right.
Yeah, me too.
You know, um, I want to talk to you about something.
Okay, okay.
Can you understand this or not?
Okay.
I hate the feeling of someone walking right behind me.
I understand it.
But I don't hate it.
Really?
It's like I'm, but I understand.
And if it's possible, I, I, I walk one step side, so that I will be like this.
Uh huh.
Not like just behind me.
Yeah.
Oh, so that helps for you?
Yeah, yeah.
Just kind of.
Yeah, this.
Just adjust yourself to the side so that you're kind of diagonal to the other guy.
Yeah, not just behind is enough to me.
Really?
But if you walk like this and that feels like, yeah, like I'm uncomfortable, but.
Let's say that you're in a city that's not so crowded, right?
You're in the streets.
You see like one, two, three people just, you know, when you look around, that's it.
And there's, there's another person walking behind you like two or three steps
behind you, right?
And you hear the clicks, the feet, right?
And that, that disgusts me.
Oh, really?
That really, like, even if you do that diagonal adjustment, like the sideways
adjustment, that doesn't help me at all.
Like the fact that we're moving in the same direction and is two or three steps
behind me, that just really bugs the fuck out of me.
Wow.
What I sometimes do is I just, I deliberately just look into a vending
machine to let that guy go.
And then I would just go back into walking.
I, I, I don't know why, but I hate it so much.
Even if like in stairs, right?
During stairs.
When you're walking down the stairs, people walking right behind me, it
just freaks the fuck out of me.
Like, there's a feeling of like, frighteningness of like, they might do
something to me or like, that's what I get.
That's, that's what I feel.
You really hate that jump scaring or something.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't know if that's connected with me being scared of jump scares.
I feel like it's a different, different one.
It comes from a different source of irritation.
But like, yeah, I don't know where, I don't know what it is, but like, it's,
it's just, it's just bugs me.
I hate it.
Well, I mean, I understand the feeling, but I don't like you like, like heavier.
Yeah.
It's like, it probably, yeah.
Wow.
Yeah.
Right.
So whoever the follower is, right.
Whoever it is.
Like little kid, little kid, like big guy, big guy, like whoever it is.
I just, I can't deal with someone walking right behind me, even, even like, um,
03:06
Aizwan's, Aizwan, I'm okay.
I'm surprised, you know, Aizwan, I'm surprised, you know, the names.
Yes, yes.
I remember that.
I'm happy.
I'm happy for that.
Yes.
I saw that on twice, the three ladies from the twice were on the Kohaku.
I got to talk to you about that one.
Okay.
So there was a clip of, um, there's a short clip, right.
That's clipped out from the original Kohaku Utamagami, right.
When Yowasobi, they sang and they had all of these back dancers, right.
Of K-pop back dancers, right.
Everybody.
Everybody.
Right.
Well, for me, all I saw was new jeans, uh, uh, Misamo twice.
Yes.
Uh, La Serafem.
No, yeah.
La Serafem and some Korean.
It wasn't, I forgot who they were, but boy band, Korean boy band.
Yeah.
Some boy groups and like, yeah.
Yeah.
They were back dancing.
Yes.
Yes.
For idol, Yowasobi's idol.
Japanese group.
Japanese group was there, but I didn't see it.
But, uh, so there was a TikTok, like a TikTok or
some, some form of source or reels maybe of, of like a, a collab of new jeans and
Yowasobi, right.
And they, they were dancing.
Right.
And you know how, so usually when you look at the comment section, the most liked
comment is usually the voice of the silent majority.
Okay.
You get what I'm saying?
Yeah.
And the top comment that I saw from that reels was like, who are these dirty girls
standing in front of Yowasobi?
Oh.
Fucking.
Who the fuck are they?
Like, I just, I just wanted to see Yowasobi.
I would rather want to just see them two performing and that's it.
I don't want all these tera tera staff people dancing and fucking dirty and up
the stage is what I saw.
And I was like, wow.
Are, are the K-pop stars that not recognized by the Japanese society?
Wow.
Yeah.
That's, oh, that's surprising to me.
Yeah.
I was like, what?
Like, I mean, you don't have to say like that.
Well, yeah.
I mean, that's a different topic.
I mean, internet trolls are, that's a different topic, right?
That's not what I'm trying to say.
Like, there's a lot of internet hate out there and that's, that's a different
conversation to be had, but.
I see.
Uh, but I want to say, but they know them and then still say like that.
No?
06:00
I don't think, no, I think they didn't know who NU'EST were.
They didn't know who they were.
Oh, wow.
You know, different article on the, uh, Kohaku of like.
Kotoshi Ichiban Mitai to Omowanai Artisto Ranking.
Terrible ranking, right?
Yeah.
Terrible survey.
Very negative energy.
I hated it, but I don't know why they do it.
Right.
Very negative energy.
But like one of the top ones were like, uh, uh, Lucera fan.
Yeah.
They were like,
Man, boy, those are some negative energy.
Yeah.
I don't like those.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah, I was very surprised.
Wow.
That's true.
For, for, for me, it was like people like NU'EST are like globally popular.
So like they're here in Japan for new years.
Like, shouldn't y'all be in Korea or something?
Like we, we, we get to have them on the Japanese TV show.
Well, that's very ZEITAKU.
So like when they were dancing for you also, we were like, wow, what a stage.
Like what a globally known superstars on stage on one stage.
That's, that's fantastic.
But like the internet clip and the silent majority that I saw was like, that's,
that's the top, top liked comment.
I was so surprised.
Yeah.
That's surprising.
Yeah.
That was, yeah.
Like even me, I'm not that professional about those.
Right.
K-pop stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I know you are very professional.
So in Japan, you're very professional level.
Yeah, I like it.
But yeah, even me, I kind of, oh, NU'EST are here like on the new year's day.
And what a, what a stage.
Like it was very gorgeous.
And everybody was in and so, wow.
Right.
Surprising.
Surprising, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's, yeah.
Right.
Right.
That's, that's all.
That's what I want to share.
Yeah.
All right.
Wow.
Thanks for sitting guys.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
