Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Hi.
Hey guys.
All right.
So, this...
Okay.
This is from リスキッチさん.
Okay.
Okay.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Yeah, I remember.
Good.
It says she or he listened to our podcast after...
We weren't able to help her or him.
It's okay, it's okay.
We may help another guy.
Yeah, right.
After it's public, right?
Yeah.
Someone might have entered.
Okay, so this is from TexMex-san.

just if somebody has a ball and your whole groupcan play it and
um or cup has been the festival for those people
okay so it used to be you know they buy a ticketand they they sell their houses
to buy a flight ticket is that what they did yes
that's outrageous yeah and they come to the studio
and that's what they do oh my god um but some ofthem did that
i think the energy even though the prices are veryhigh they did it
it was worth their homes the heart the soul
is is is absolutely high uh-huh but um i don'tknow
um i i i saw some interviews that who lovesfootball but
the prices are too high tickets are too high tooexpensive
and then they can't afford it so they can't justthey can't just cannot
come to the places not only the tickets but like
hotels and like you know transfers and everythingare
very very high expensive um so they couldn't cometo the
places yeah um seeing those interviews that's
that made me a bit sad whereas i if you see thegame you see
06:05
plenty of people it looks very rich i would say
um you know yeah um so that's a it felt like thedynamic pricing
made the game not for everybody yeah only for theriches
okay yeah okay if you if you take an example like
brazilians like um it's difficult to um choose theones but um
few years ago like few um world cup cups ago thereare like
some people that looked like almost naked almostlike they looked like
i don't know they just living in the studio kindof okay
they just have nothing but they have the spirityeah yeah
but this time like for example like braziliansthey were like
i don't know like everybody was like well
machi machiated like the shows like very everybodywas like fancy kind of
um it was noticeable yeah from just by looking atthe crowds
i see yeah the price ranged i changed felt it
but even though those like price changes likeargentina
like all the fans that come to this you know like
a studio with a huge passion and that pushes theargentina team to
the final i guess so still
you can argue that by you know optimizing theprices
you're you're you know being able to to um
put more blood flows in the football economy
yes right and then thus people are going to be
you know more passionate to join the league maybeyou know
some people might do it for the money right yesthat's that's one
that could be one merit exactly for the soccerindustry
yeah and um that's arguable yes don't you think
i i agree i agree with that yeah like um let's saylike an nba
they do so many things like a business wise they
market it they do shows remember when we went toan
nba game right i remember i would say like
it was not a sports game yeah it was a show yeah
yeah like as well everywhere yeah like so manyplaces that makes money
right at the place yes and um but that
makes nba rich so they can pay to the players
they can build our training centers they can buildi don't know whatever
09:01
whatever right and make it like looks moreattractive i would say
so and um the players are become like a betterplayer
because of the good facilities and everythingright so that's a
that's a good thing that's a good thing um
so i can't just and that's what the usa is good atright
turning it into a business model yes yeah so
and they made success on nba nfls and everything
so yeah i think there are something that we haveto learn from that
those models yes yeah but at the same time yeahthere's
that part it's complicated yes it's like
can we let this happen yeah yeah because it'salready
the football for many countries yeah they havestars in their countries they
don't even have to put money into it maybe
yeah yeah and one more thing is like they
collect all those like big monies and where
free for paying those money too then it's likemaybe the halftime shows maybe
like huge get a guarantee for the artist maybe
and that's not something to me yeah it's not
the good circle to me yeah or like i don't know so
but yeah honestly i yes i agree with that it'svery
agreeable um yes how much would you have paid forthe
to go to the world cup um japan brazil game sureso
the flight fee okay let's just let's just fix theprice fee all right
the the flight fee is going to be back and forth
just going in and come back it's going to be
okay okay all right hotel stay yeah the price ofthe hotel stay
okay so that's how did you know what did i sayyeah how did you
mind to start off with okay is that just is thattoo expensive i
mean yes okay i'm sorry it is expensive but uh
like i don't know realistically like the price was
really high yeah i think it's decent like it'slike that
yeah yeah yeah you mean one night you mind
no tonight so maybe three nights total is you myend
yeah maybe it would cost more yeah i think so okay
i think that's like one of the cheapest hotels ithink okay
realistically three nights right yeah three nightstotal i would say let's do
uh yeah i think that's decent yeah so
flight energy my in need you mind for the hotel soyou're
you're already okay starting off with kyuji myokay and so how much price
ticket would you pay for it to be like okay
let's go let's do this or is that already a dealbreaker like
12:02
the kyuji my in it's expensive yeah yeah
you mind is expensive for me it's already a dealalready a deal
breaker
so um in realistically i won't be there
only for three nights if i go okay i think i wouldstay
longer okay just go multiple games to make it likeyou know okay
yeah but um okay three nights one game braziljapan if it's a good
seat yeah if it's a good seat if that's a good
seat for two right for two people she said um
okay she said um for two none of you my end
yeah um
that's the minimum so for two you'd paid not asyou my end yeah
if it's a good seat it's a good seat yeah okay
but i guess that's yeah i guess for anyone thatwants to be
there i guess that's a reasonable price i meanwhich is a ridiculous thing to
say you know yeah it's expensive right i mean
even me i hesitate right to buy that with theamount of like
love that you have yes towards the game yes
so i don't know how they manage yeah all thosepeople
in the stadium they paid all that money rightright
let's say like argentina fans they stays in theusa for
almost one month that's true and paying everything
not working right they gotta be rich to do that
yeah yeah oh they they're just broke they'reselling houses yeah they own
houses yes they they know that they are gonna be
broken but they they broke themselves they arejust
right maybe the passion level is different
credit card the magic credit card yeah maybe
i'll let the uh future me take care of thatproblem yeah
oh man all right thanks listening yeah i meanhonestly
i hope the world cup comes to japan yeah in fewyears make it cheaper yeah in 10
14 i don't know 18 years yeah hopefully yeahhopefully the yen's
back by then as well you know true true true sotrue all right
thanks for sitting guys thank you bye
