welcome to Kevin's English room podcast welcome back welcome back my name is
Yama my name is Kevin and we are Kevin's English yeah yeah we are Kevin's all right we're not
gonna do it okay I thought we're gonna I thought that was like a sign like you
said we are yeah I thought you were waiting for me like okay we are yeah okay
that's good that's good okay so we are opening okay we are opening the DMs that we got
yeah exactly that's what we're doing that's what yeah yeah that wasn't like
that was yeah I know I know so go ahead you got a message right yeah yeah so we
are recording the okay go ahead go ahead so this is the next one okay so
this is from Saya-san thank you Saya-san thank you Saya-san
hajimemashite mainichi tanoshiku haichou shiteimasu pin micu mechakucha
kikiyasu kodama thank you itsumo idoutchuu airpods pro ya kaji wo yarinagara
speaker de nagashite kiiteiru no desu ga o futari no hatsun ga kakudan ni
kikitori yasukunatte ureshii desu I'm saying you got to gozaimasu thank you
mmm moshi yoroshike reba itsuka ima otsukai no pin micu ya fudan no shuuroku
no kizai kankyo na do o daizai ni shiteitadaketara ureshii desu
sure mainichi no neta sagashi ya keizoku tsuru no wa taehen datto omoimasu ga
korekara mo tanoshimi ni shiteimasu
so there's so many
comments about this pin mic microphone it says that's better yes I'm so happy
thank you for having this so please explain about those yeah sure equipment
so we're really taking care of our qualities with the audios and the
studios you know studios yeah we went one of the best radio places in Japan
it's like it's a studio and we have this like Sennheiser microphones mm-hmm
happy do we have you have not noticed I'm sorry yeah then houses yeah it's the
same one that Michael Jackson used oh when he record his vocals we he did a
radio show ah I'm sure you don't know what he did a radio show
Jackson yeah yeah it was the one that was provided by the company the company
03:04
yeah that come the company yeah yes and we're making sure that we have the best
audio quality on point yeah we want to make sure that that our voices are are
very smooth yeah and and and reaching you're very clear right exactly yeah so
agree with you right and then before we upload the podcast what I do is I do a
professional EQ Joe say do you of course oh I didn't know that you EQ in all this
I studied oh yes yeah professional podcasting exactly yeah your mid-range is
a little bit low sometimes so I get all for you okay and I think you're you're
low range is sometimes a little bit too much compared to mine it's like lower
yours a little bit right and right we have we also have this kind of screen
that keeps track of time that we're that we're on point with ten minute episodes
because I think that's the best timing if you like you're not looking at it oh
in front of oh yeah so there you go okay that's all right that's our yep
equipment mm-hmm so using a Zenhiser microphone yep and what screen yep big
screen yep is that big how big is that it's pretty big it's pretty big timer
pretty big just showing the time exactly but the big it's big big one yeah okay
and using the same same microphone as Michael Jackson used yes yeah yeah the
same the same Michael Jackson use this oh yeah yeah yeah it's the one he had on
his body yeah yeah how much is this micro 1300 yen
it's kind of very like much cheaper than I thought oh yeah after hearing that
Michael Jackson I got it at the dark web so we talked about this for five minutes
yeah I think that was really impressive you know I kept it going for five
minutes yeah that was great job yeah yeah thank you you're welcome yeah yes
professional podcast for real yeah for real let's talk about for real yeah I'm
sure she wants to know yes we're in your room yeah you know but you're right yeah
well yeah it's for like a studio have some Q on yeah well I think I'm pretty
06:01
sure that this is kind of a not bad yeah it's right you're you like to create
music here yeah I record here so right so like it's sort of like a studio yes
yeah actually yeah but like a little bit too much green maybe I don't know if the
studio or like they do a lot of photo synthesis right well you're recording
right like cold will say is it gonna make like a little noise like under the
Sun yeah have you not heard of photo synthesis like yeah but okay yeah but
you have like this Q on's I guess you're up against your wall which is I think
you know pretty professional not echoing like huge exactly the whole ways and um
so that's the room yep we have a pin Mike mm-hmm that I bought an Amazon for
13 on again yep which is pretty cheap you know since I'm a quinn hmm it is
pretty cheap yeah right but the quality is not that um not bad bad not bad but
the thing is like if I talk over like this like the volume goes up
exponentially this thing can't like keep it down so I think one of the more
important thing I do is like before I upload it I go through this like I think
the name of the program was um was it called um let me see I yeah it's sort of
like EQ but like it's an automatic EQ mmm what was it called you like compress
the audio yeah normalize the volume yes
what was it name you have an application yeah it's a it's a it's a web service
our subs oh all phonic okay AUPH oh and I see I I get the audio file and upload
an alphonic and then I stabilized I normalized the audio so like all of the
volume is like all the same mm-hmm and then like standardize the average volume
so that's why I think it's easier to hear without having to have the volume
up really and download that audio and then I upload it on podcast so that was
I think one of the great like audio quality uppers yeah yeah yeah so maybe
09:03
we would have needed the pin mic and just that the we need this that the EQ I
was a little bit curious like if the audio quality would have been the same
mm-hmm if I just did the normalization without the pin mics I'm a little scared
to find out now it's make differences huge difference so don't worry about it
yeah so I'm sure I'm sure so that way yeah right yeah just yeah you're it's
probably different yeah you're probably right yeah this pin mic is doing it is
different right it's not only the normalization no no no also that be have
a guess in my huge role playing here yeah yeah I didn't know that you you
you're doing the normalization but well thank you no it's because the pin mic
has like I I laughed looking down at one episode in my ears fucking exploded oh
my god my voice in my ears sorry I needed it we are very close right now
to the pin mic here yeah yeah sometimes we talk very quietly yeah sometimes we
laugh like very hard well and suddenly - you know right so there you go that's
our fancy set of yeah yeah the professional you know the highest
quality because we are the number four yeah I guess that makes us
professionals yeah we're done do you think we're professional podcasters do
you think so I mean we are not getting any money from anywhere mm-hmm that
means we're not professional oh okay no but we are one of the most listened
podcast yeah so is that does that make a professional or is it being we're if
we're getting money from it that makes us professional it's a very difficult
question like can we introduce ourselves as podcasters well yeah
podcast says yeah professional podcasters huh well you know the
definition of professional is changing right that depends yeah if you're being
monetized or just working really hard on it and we have top charts or something
right right right you're right but like if it was 20 years ago we cannot say
professional podcaster because we are not getting any money from anywhere mm-hmm
but right now you know the time is changing and right you know one thing
leads to another yeah podcast listener goes to YouTube and that leads to like
yeah right that's a difficult question right there and also we're number four
yeah which is professional yeah professional the professional professional
I've never been number four in anything in Japan no it's really hard to believe
12:08
yeah is it true I think it's true I think that was not a fake account because I
you know especially the podcast we know we're receiving so many messages but we
cannot see the faces like the real-time comments back mm-hmm so we can kind of
not see the audience you're right you're right so if it was all fake yeah oh okay
well that's our yeah equipment okay and thank you for not unsubscribing funny
episode yeah all right thanks listen guys thank you bye
