A high school boy has been arrested on suspicion of gang reckless driving.

On the 25th, prefectural police arrested a 16-year-old high school student from Fujioka City on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Act.

According to police, the boy conspired with his accomplices and drove a minibike near an intersection in Yashima-cho, Takasaki City, for about two minutes at around 9pm on May 27th, forming a group of about 10 motorcycles and other vehicles, which drove in a spiral pattern and drove recklessly as a group.
The suspect is believed to be a member of a motorcycle gang based in the prefecture, or an associate of one.
