A black bear captured in Kiryu City.

A male black bear was captured in a cage set up in Umeda Town, Kiryu City this month.
The captured black bear was 140cm long and weighed 95kg,
and was captured about a 10-minute drive north from the Umeda Hometown Center in Kiryu City.
A 45-year-old woman working in forestry nearby had requested that Kiryu City set up the cage to prevent animal damage to wild vegetables,
and it was found hanging on the 1st of this month.
