Former manager of "Thespa Gunma" Ueki Shigeharu has passed away.

Ueki Shigeharu, who served as manager and general manager of J2 soccer club Thespa Gunma, has passed away. 
He was 69 years old.
Ueki was from Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and was selected for the Japanese national team during his playing days.
He later served as manager of J.League teams and other organizations.
In 2002, he was involved in the founding of Thespa Gunma, and served as manager and general manager until 2014,
before becoming manager of Jobu University, a position he held until last year.
