Soaking wet - completely wet
Out of my hands - I have no control (anymore)
Dilute - to add water
Phone is blowing up - receiving lots of messages in a short period of time
Somewhat - a little bit
From scratch - from the beginning (cooking from basic ingredients)
Pick/choose your battles (wisely) - be careful about what you argue/fight about (don't fight about the small things)
It’s your funeral! - if you don't listen to my advice you will have a very hard time
